I was definitely a novice on these subjects, these courses got me not only conversant on the topics but thinking about how these technologies can be leveraged in the industry I work in. Thanks

Current topics

I think the information was good but I feel that this should be a classroom activity. In that case if you have questions or do not understand the material you can ask for an explanation. It made references to various places and material that I found was hard to navigate since there were so many places that the material talked about the same thing it was confusing which answer was the correct one. I have been doing audits for 31 years and it is very hard for me and I can assume there are others like me that have not been schooled in these areas as well as we could have been if there was a classroom session presented. A younger person in my office that has been brought up on the material since it was implemented and did not have the old way already memorized and he did ok on the class and the exam.
There were 2 or 3 places that one of the instructors mentioned to "just throw away the checklists and find something that will work for you". If we did this I am sure that we would get written up on the peer review for not following the checklists..
I also think if it was in the classroom style it would be an 8 hour class. this way we really could get a lot more out of it. I learn better by doing projects with the material being discussed.

The cost for a primarily audio only live webcast should be at least 25% less than the live attendee conference.
The speakers and topic presenters are always good. An open session with the IRS to address practitioner issues in the real world would greatly enhance the experience
