The AICPA Corporate Finance and Controllers Conference
I mostly attended the manufacturing breakout sessions and overall I would have liked to see more practical examples or case studies to illustrate how the theoretical concepts are applied.

Some of the sessions were difficult to digest because they were trying to cram so much information into 45 minutes. I think giving more time to each topic and either having a longer conference or covering fewer topics at a time would be beneficial.

The materials and instruction were great. I do not believe the amount of time spent on reviewing the self-study materials was necessary. I agree that there does need to be time allotted for a brief overview and to answer any questions, however, I don't think it needs to be half of the day.

The material was really good. However, the instructor was really dry. For the majority of the time he read from the slides. I could have done as much from my office. The facility was very nice and the Oregon CPA staff ran a nice operation.

Fairly easy to use. Obviously the forms are always up to date, which is terrific. Search engine is not great, so it takes a while to find a specific document with having to enter many versions of the words to finally find the correct section. I'm old school though, so I can still find something quicker in a paper version!!

I loved the venue. For some reason, the different tracks weren't clear to me but it was probably my bad. Lots and lots of 199 and 163j but I suppose those were the main issues of the day. I will continue to attend. I like going every 2 or 3 years.
