Its okay - It’s a very boring way to learn. I would prefer videos and active and engaging learning. It felt like regurgitated text book learning, which isn't very retainable. Also, I didn't think the list of topics appealed all that much toward the corporate accountant, because of there were lots of tax and audit questions. I did like the CFO and controller series, but again it could have been better. CPE express might be better if it was modeled from the Becker CPA review program. I wouldn't mind paying more for it either if it was a better learning platform.

I thought it lacked specificity and was outdated. It glossed over 606 issues and was largely a waste of time.

Thank you for your feedback. The intent of the guide was to provide overall guidance related to ASC 606 for Construction Contractors. Now that the standard is fully effective and industry practice has begun to come into focus, the need for additional guidance will be considered.

I found this course very good. It was current in its content and having sample test questions at the end of each chapter was great for reinforcing the chapter contents. I enjoy learning with these types of courses especially since I can work at my speed. Not easy to log in to. Course material homework hours not equal to assessed cpe hours given. Some material didn't have documentation which the IRS requires me to keep for their review. Probably won't buy again.
