The test seems to be designed to fail rather than educate. I think that the AICPA should do a comprehensive review of all aspects of the test and try to design it so that it serves the testee and not the ego of the test developers.

Remote Auditing: Lessons Learned
I appreciated the insights and comments related to how much of an audit engagement was performed remotely prior to the pandemic. I do remain concerned, though, that many auditors are more likely to avoid the face-to-face contact and thus may in fact not see something that would plain as the noses on their faces. Audit is, after all, a people business. Technology is a tool and should be used as such. It should not govern the audit.
