very knowledgable presenters, but I think we know all know what our professional responsibilities are. What would be more effective is if the presentation could be designed so that we take real fraud cases, perhaps we get them from the DOL inspections, and then link the fraud occurrence back to the structural failure in the audit strategy, risk assessments, brainstorming, professional skepticism, etc., factors that contributed to the failure to detect the fraud during the audit. Particularly in the ever increasing paperless environment we are forced to audit within.

I have attended this conference for many years and I am at the point where I feel I am attending solely for the required CPE and not to further my understanding of the topics. The group of CPA presenters seem to be from larger firms and although what they are presenting is relevant to all of our practices there perspective of things is different from a smaller firms perspective. An example is during the lease standard presentation, the speaker referenced how their client was compiling a list of many thousand leases and presenting to the CPA. That's great but a more in depth discussion of the practical application would be helpful. Also, this would be going against the trend forever, but maybe longer sessions on some topics would be useful. I understand the conference is to expose topics and not necessarily be an in depth discussion but it seems as though the speaker has to really pick and choose their spots to cover the material. I will continue to attend but just giving my thoughts for further consideration. Thank you.

A complete waste of time and money. Course exam allows 3 tries and the questions and answers refer to key phrases not in the course PowerPoint or transcript. Terrible product.
