The folks at Carolina Cabin Rentals were great to work with! Any issues that came up during our stay, they were quick to get someone by to handle.

The pictures of this cabin were very deceptive. It was way smaller than anticipated. I would think for what we payed it would have been more roomier. It had an abundance of everything except no toilet paper or a can opener. I wouldn't need 4 rolls of paper towels so why not provide the toilet paper. It did have a very nice TV package.

The cabin was very nice. Looks just like the pictures. I expected the view to be a little better but trees block the view. We couldn’t find the hiking trail so we didn’t get to hike and the roads are very narrow and winding, very scary on some parts to drive. But how else would you get to the mountains. Using the digital key pad to get in was very tricky my boyfriend was able to get it after a few tries every time we came in. Housekeeping could do better with cleaning the bathroom. There was a little bit of hair in the tub and I think someone before me had a pet. We wanted to swim at the resort but the owner of this cabin is not a member so we wasn’t allowed. The kitchen was well stocked with all your cooking needs. Bring toilet tissue cause they only leave one roll. Restaurants and grocery stores are not far drive down the mountain. The cabin is right across the road from the gamekeeper restaurant we walked over just to take a look but didn’t eat there because we brought so much food to cook at the cabin so the we our little hike experience. Overall the cabin was a nice weekend getaway for us. Romantic and cozy. We enjoyed our stay but not enough to return a second time.

Skyland Cabin provided the perfect mountain getaway. The cabin is beautiful and meets every expectation. We look forward to booking this rental again soon!

Great customer service; nice, clean cabin. The driveway was nerve-wrecking, but fully disclosed...there was a loose rail on the upstairs porch which was a definite safety concern for my family as we have small children. Otherwise, we loved our stay and would use both the cabin and Carolina Cabin Rentals again. Many thanks!!

Location is wonderful. Drive way is really steep. Weird odor downstairs. Skylight in the master bedroom sucks if you are trying to sleep in. Had an overall great experience!

Carolina Cabin Rentals is awesome! The process for reservations is a breeze. I made my reservations months in advance and received emails updating me on what was required (deposits, final payments, etc) in a timely manner. Before our arrival, I received detailed information with directions to the home, etc. My experience was 5* and I will definitely use Carolina Cabin Rentals for future rentals in the Boone area. In fact, we want to rent the same house next year!

My husband and I have stayed in this cabin several times before and love it. Besides being well appointed, attractive, and immaculately clean, it is in a location that is picturesque and convenient to both downtown Boone and Blowing Rock.

It is an awesome cabin, the view is spectacular of grandfather and grandmother mountain. It is a piece of heaven.
