The 6 weeks delay in clearing a cheque is hard to understand - making an order for a coin which takes months to receive is hard to accept in this day and age of swift financial dealings with other international dealers. Also being unable to use a Visa card to purchase a coin is contrary to other dealers services in the UK. These delays make it unattractive to purchase from Chards.

Thank you for your feedback. Our international customers are currently able to pay by debit card online, bank transfer and cheque. Both debit card and bank transfers typically are instantaneous. We also have dedicated currency accounts to serve this purpose. Using these methods, your order would be ready to despatch within 3 working days if the item was in stock. However, for cheques, we do allow a 6 week clearance for Euros and Dollars, as advised by our bank.
