I put 3 steed purely because of the way they handled my situation otherwise it would be a lot less. I received a very suspect gold bar which I was not happy with and returned. I will say they were very good and replaced it immediately. However if I had not noticed. I would probably still have a suspicious looking gold bar in my my possession.

!st order. Ordered 2 items. Paid for them. Next day contacted and told one is not available and it will take a few days to refund. So I end up paying the same postage for one item, which I wouldn't have ordered if your website had been up to date and not shown items in stock which weren't.

We are sorry to hear you are not happy with the service offered to you by Chards. When we contacted you to confirm the item was not available, if you wished you could have cancelled the complete order and then you would not have had to pay any postage charge.
We have thousands of products available for sale and 100’s of which are on our website. Unfortunately on this occasion the item you were looking to purchase was out of stock. We apologise for this inconvenience it is not normal practice for us to offer something for sale that we do not have, but sometimes errors do occur as we are not a large multimillion online company we are a small family run business.
We feel by contacting customers to see if they would like an alternative product or a refund is good customer service. If this should happen again in the future, we could ask customers if they wish to cancel their whole order or have a refund.
We do appreciate all feedback so we can offer the best service possible.

Excellent- through my own fault ( senior moment ) I double ordered I was emailed within an hour and asked to check and confirm my order. I phoned immediately can spoke with a very polite lady who explained that they though some thing was wrong with the order and so contacted me.
