DD Ross Trigger Guard for Remington 700 SA - USMC M40A3
I’ve tried many different guards however I always come back to a steel guard. Well, the aluminum guards may be lightweight. They tend not to hold up as well. Also I trust an internal box magazine, such as the BDL over a detachable magazine. The detachable magazine tends to allow dirt and grime, which can interfere with chambering and cycling. Also look at the quality of the steel and where it is manufactured. Many brands are manufactured overseas, and while their initial offerings may be accurate, the quality tends to decrease over production.
