Amazing customer service and amazing corsets.

I was skeptical. Wondering if these corsets would be just another flimsy mannequin worthy version of the real corsets I have always wanted but never found. I was delighted to be wrong! The quality of all 4 of my varied corsets was amazing. Gorgeous fabrics , unbelievable strength. Fast shipping and they even exchanged one of my corsets for another when I wanted a second one of my ‘favorite’. Customer service was above and beyond! VERY happy first time customer.

Overbust mesh net corset- absolutely fantastic. These are real corsets so getting into the thing takes time and practice- but don’t despair, once it’s on it’s just perfect. Due to my figure I would not wear this under clothing; the bust is not molded and the cleavage situation is out of control for regular clothing.

WORTH THE PRICE!! I honestly didn't think these were going to be high-quality - I WAS WRONG! I bought four corsets in one go because they were running a special. Every single one was made very well and had such intricate details. My sister, who is a ballerina, even commented that these corsets were nicer than some of her professional tutus she's worn. Great purchase and will be ordering more.

So the elephant in the room is: Why Order from Corset Story, Don't They Have Negative Reviews?

I must admit, I was hesitant to trust the new and improved Corset Story, but after reading the most recent reviews, I decided to give it a go when they offered their 4 for 1 summer sale.

Much to my delight, I've found that all four corsets are well made and wearable for an entire day/evening. The busks are typically more flexible than most custom corsets made in the USA, but this isn't necessarily a bad feature. These busks can be curved easily, making the body's silhouette curve more naturally underneath clothing. The grommets look good on all four corsets. So, If anything, I'd wish for slightly longer laces on the underbusts.

I ordered the following four corsets:

Exquisite Cream Brocade Longline Overbust Waist Trainer - 30"

Overbusts aren't exactly comfortable when seated for most of the day, so I'll save this one for evenings out. The outer brocade did not wrinkle when the corset was laced, and the bra cups are suitable for a C/D. I did order up a size based off of recommendations from previous reviews and would suggest the same for anyone C cup or larger. I feel it would be more attractive for the body to have a clean line than a smaller waist size.


Black Satin Longline Underbust with Lace and Ribbon Bow - 28"

The bow is adorable touch, and may serve to eliminate the gaping that sometimes occurs with some of my daily corsets where the little bit of fabric above the top peg sometimes folds over under the weight of my tas. If this is the case, I may consider it a new hack for my other underbusts. The busk is flexible, and the satin facing does not wrinkle any more than expected when laced. The lace on the bottom is cute, but I doubt it will last very long, given its placement.


Cream Brocade Expert Waist Training Longline Underbust Corset - 28"

Much like the satin underbust, this corset features a flexible busk and the facing does not wrinkle when the corset is laced. It feels sturdier than the satin underbust, but that may be simply the stiffness of unseasoned brocade. I did remove the modesty panels on all three underbusts - just a personal preference, as I always wear a liner anyway.


Longline Bridal Corset with Super Fine Mesh Panels and Floral Appliqué - 28"

I did not like the looks of this corset the first time it was unpackaged. It appeared flimsy and wrinkled, but I decided to give it a full week of seasoning before passing judgement. Now I must admit that it is holding its shape much better. The mesh is more of a soft sports mesh than a stiff corsetry mesh, so I feel that it may stretch over time, and knowing this, would size down a CS mesh next time. One perk of the sports mesh, though, is that you won't get poked by stray wire as the corset ages.



Tl;dr - At 4 for 1 you're getting a great deal. Corsets aren't spanx, so measure yourself before ordering and expect to have to season (aka wear and let the corset shape to your body)

And for all the armchair corset warriors, know that I will order Corset Story before ever ordering Timeless Trends again.
