I work in the theatre and these are the best, most affordable corsets out there. I can't recommend them highly enough. They also arrive very quickly. Great company, great product and actually affordable.

The website was a little frustrating. I could filter by my size, but not sort the results by price. If I tried sorting the results by price (low to high) it would get rid of the corsets in my size and include everything. Please fix it so I can filter and sort at the same time! I liked the wide variety of corsets available.

I actually wanted DAPHNE WHITE BRODERIE ANGLAISE COTTON CORSET TOP but for some reason wasn't able to add it to my cart despite it not being sold out or anything, oh well I found another corset that I kind of wanted instead so I guess I'll just give up on this one...Please fix this for future customers though, it was frustrating trying to add the top to my cart and being repeatedly rejected for no real reason.

The corsets found on your website are so pretty I want to buy them all, but I found it heartbreaking that after rounds and rounds and rounds of exchanges, almost none of them worked for my body.

Tara provided as much help as she could on the customer service front with fitting advice, but the fact is that nearly all the corsets produced by Corset Story are intended for what we might call "curvy" ladies. That's OK, but it would be nice if you would be realistic about that, or else come up with different tiers of sizing based on real life proportions. There could be more than one cut for each corset: curvy cut and slender cut. Or you could just say that your corsets aren't likely to fit slender ladies.

It's really hard to be able to guess that this is a problem, since more than just a few of your models have body types like me: they are relatively slender. My measurements are 36 - 30 - 40. I just need to cinch in my waist, which is puffy from childbearing.

But every one of your corsets except for the "instant shape" line were WAAAAAY too big on top and on bottom when properly laced. As in, I could fit my fist in the gap when I ordered a corset according to your sizing chart and had it laced as tightly as it would go. I honestly can't figure out how some of the slender models on your site make them look like they fit. I went as far as trying a size 22 --8 inches smaller than my natural waist!!!--and it *might* have fit me in the hips and bust, but at that size I could scarcely lace it at all.

Many might say "you just need to lace the corset tighter." But there are two major problems with the reality of that. 1. I would have had to either figure out a way to crush my ribs to fit into a corset with an 8 inch waist reduction, or else lace a larger corset with a parenthesis lacing gap, either one of which is a really bad idea; and 2. Because they were cut to fit a totally different body type, when I would try lacing them the best I could, the ill fit made the boning rub against my ribs, which caused a great deal of distress just in wearing for a short while; extended wear would have led to bruising. So yes, I do know what I'm talking about, and there is no way on earth any of the corsets I tried on would ever be wearable for me with any safe lacing method.

And the insult of this impossibility of fit was made one step worse by the fact that the "instant shape" line (the only ones that didn't require incorrect lacing or an 8" waist reduction to fit in the hips) is not worth bothering with; some of them do so little shaping that you end up with a larger waist due to the extra bulk of the corset itself. Then add the fact that the boning is sparser and lightweight, and you find that daily wear causes the fabric to get stress wrinkles which show through your clothing.

There was exactly ONE corset with a 4 inch waist reduction that fit me properly and didn't cause pain, and that was it. A very plain, heavyweight beige cotton corset. That one I have been happy with. Anything prettier was impossible.

I had hoped that I would be a repeat customer at Corset Story, but I've already tried on what feels like half of your products, and none of them fit. So sad.

The sale was so exciting and the options are great! Tip for me, was having a measuring tape handy to know I was buying the appropriate size. The website will tell you based on the inches what natural waist size it will fit. This was really helpful for me. Thank YOU!!!

It’s very frustrating that every time I click on a design then go “back” to the list of search results, I have to re-enter the search parameters again.

I placed the order with a few of my friends and we kept finding corsets we loved the designs of that only came in longline styles (we all have fairly short torsos). Additionally, there were a lot of styles that did not have some of our sizes (as in, the number wasn't even listed, not that it was out of stock) as well as many where our sizes were out of stock.

I would like an option to filter buy size!

Your website was pretty easy to use, and so so much wonderful information available to help pick out sizes and designs and how to use etc. You have beautiful selections, and impressive photos to display their appeal. My frustration may be my own internet browser, but it was annoying to have to reload the entire web page every time I wanted to click on a new selection of color, style, size. And then the back button would seem to reset the search parameters, and going off your menu bring entirely different search parameters, so I would find myself going from five pages of options to 11 pages to three pages, and no longer sure of what I have already seen or not.

One of my items didn't get purchased and I'm not really sure how. I added it but after I checked out it wasn't there so I only got 3 out of my 4 items.
