I was very satisfied & happy with the corset but the first day I wore it a hook broke off : ( for the amount of money that I paid, I am very dissapponted that it just fell apart like that. Other than that, the shipping & packaging was very professional

Corset Story has a fantastic array of affordable corsets, and the sale prices are inspiring. However, many of the pictures are inaccurate in their portrayal of the true corset shapes, as the corsets are laced unevenly (very wide at top and cinched at bottom) and thus give a false impression of increased curvature.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that. As every person has a different body shape we can't unfortunately guarantee it will be the correct fit but it is possible to adjust a corset through correct lacing to get in in shape. We do offer also steel boned corsets for beginners, all items beginning with the item code B... are those kind of corsets.I would recommend a steel boned corset for you. We also have the general steel boned corsets (about 12 steel bones) as well as waist training ones (about 24 steel bones). In the item description it will always tell you how many steel bones they have and if they are made with spiral or flat steel bones. The spiral steel bones can adjust a bit better to a body shape. Please note for the waist training corsets we recommend to ask a doctor if it is ok for you to wear just to make sure. They can bring in the waist a bit more than the regular steel boned corsets. In the item description under *Styling Features* it will tell you the possible waist reduction possible. However, if you are not happy with your item, we inform you that as long it is within the time frame for the exchange/refund policy you can return the unwanted item to the address printed on your packing slip with a tracked service and e-mail us with the tracking number received or you can place a return request directly on our website: http://www.corset-story.com/rma and follow the instructions and we will be happy to exchange your item for you.
