Electric Blanket - Double Size
I had a few electric blankets in the past. I like to get into a very warm bed, it helps me fall asleep quickly. I bought this item because it had fantastic rating and excellent reviews. I can honestly say that there is nothing special about this product to warrant such good rating - it is a bit slow to heat up, the connector for electric cable is a bit chunky and yo can feel it very prominently if you lye on it , the controls are nothing special either, there is no timer and 3 different settings are for 3 different heat levels. I always use the maximum, 3, and it takes good 20+ minutes to warm up. Other models which I had in the past were better than this one so I suggest you compare characteristics of different blankets and read reviews carefully before deciding which one you want to buy.

item now displays a P symbol when turned on, and despite checking all connections blanket still does not turn on or heat up. Disappointing as just out of return period.

Fleece Electric Heated Throw - Cream
I bought this as a Christmas gift and it has not disappointed. Fantastic product. The heat comes through very quickly and effortlessly. The easily adjustable heat levels are super and very clear, it's easy to operate and suitable for all ages. Would highly recommend and buy again.

Fleece Electric Heated Throw - Cream
I bought this for my elderly mother as an over blanket for her bed. Size wise it fits her double bed very well and was a good quality. The on/off switch on the remote was good and easy to operate. The controls themselves were easy to operate for mentally aware people, however, my mother who is 92 and atthough very aware of her surroundings found the controls a little confusing. The buttons are in a line which is ok but the labels are quite small print and the buttons are all the same shape with only the text to distinguish between them. I guess the primary age group to use this blanket is of a later in life age so I have a few suggestions. Firstly change the shape of the buttons to represent the activity so shape can be used as well as text. Secondly add a memory function to the remote so it returns to the last setting when switched on. At present it defaults to 0 time and 0 heat and has to be re-programmed every time. A default programmable setting would remove that activity thus enabling the blanket to operate on switch on only.

Electric Blanket - King Size
In fact I got the king-size for my double bed as they have always come up smaller and this fits perfectly and was also on a deal. So no cold edges.

WE used it for a 2 weeks but soon realised leaving it on was causing some back pain so stopped using. It'd be good if it had automated timers to switch off on it.
