Fleece Electric Heated Throw - Grey
Beautiful colour and softness BUT gets unbearably burning hot in some areas and the electrical connector also gets too hot to touch.. really worried this will lead to a fire. No longer using, so waste of money sadly.

Extra-Large Electric Heat Pad
Several reviewers have said that the pad doesn't get hot enough so just though I would mention that I think it is fine. When I first bought it and plugged it in, let it heat up for ten mins and thought, rubbish. This isn't getting hot, you would barely call it warm at top setting (number six). HOWEVER, once you use the pad it is quite different. I bought it for warmth rather than pain relief and found when I put it at my back and leaned on it (or put it on the sofa so that I was partly sitting, partly leaning on it) and the heat is trapped rather than escaping like it does when it's just laid flat, it got nice and hot. In fact, after sitting on it for half an hour it was starting to almost feel TOO hot. So, maybe not too good for "laying on" a pain like a neck or shoulder but for leaning on or hugging round yourself for comfort I would say it is fine.

Electric Blanket - King Size
Very pleased with my electric blankets. I purchased 1 and eventually another. Both king size. The blanket heats up quite quickly on the highest setting ( 3 ). Especially if you have a good winter duvet/quilt to keep the heat trapped underneath. Results are a very warm welcome bed to get into. The instructions do state that you can continue keep it on through the night, but, must be on number 1 setting. I find I do not need it on at all after getting into bed. Very good value for money. My relative who uses the other blanket loves it for the same reasons.

Electric Blanket - King Size
This blanket has no auto shut off. Just remains on unless you turn it off or get roasted alive! After a week of light use, it curls up and lifts away from mattress. I am inclined to throw it away.

I work from home a lot and get cold but can't see the point in heating the whole house when I spend hours at my desk. This blanket is lightweight, easy to drape over you or wrap around you and the controls are easy peasy. It gets warm really quickly and great value for money. Just trying to keep it a secret from our Border Collie!

Electric Blanket - King Size
It arrived at my address in France very promptly in three days. It fits the king size bed perfectly and the ties on the blanket work very well to prevent it slipping on the mattress. The instructions are very clear on how to use it and it heats the bed very well to warm it before use. The ability to use it on low heat when in bed is excellent on cold nights. My two cats also think it is great.

Electric Blanket - Single Size
I've had an electric blanket (which my mum bought in Argos for a low price) for about 5 years and worked perfectly. However a couple of months ago it stopped working and I decided to go for this one (not expensive, but a bit more pricey than the one my mum got) so I expected it to be at least as good as the one I had. Unfortunately this one does not heat the bed as well as the other (even if I leave it on for 1 hour or more before I get into bed). Also, I can feel its shape and its edges even if there's a bedsheet in between. I gues it's not the worst bed heater you could have, but it's not what I expected.. if I knew this before I would have got a cheaper one. Now I'm using one my flatmate got and gave me because he knows I can't stand the cool.
