Electric Blanket - King Size
I didn't need a blanket that heats different bed areas, or dual controls, I just wanted to warm our bed on winter nights. This blanket does the job, only 3 heat settings, though number one is only useful if you sleep with blanket on, which we never do. So number 3 for 10 to 15 minutes is enough. The instructions say place the controller near pillow, but I've put that at bottom of bed, I didn't want to feel it near my head, no problems, it still works. Although we have double bed, we chose king size and it fits bed better. So for the reasonable price, so far this is perfect.

Fleece Electric Heated Throw - Grey
Bought one last year for my elderly mother Soft and snug but lightweight. Large easy to use controls. Nice dark grey colour in a soft thick velour type material Heats up quick so nice and toasty in no time. Mum uses it when watching TV and loves it . So now I've bought another for mother in law.A bit pricey but it's worth it

Ive never had an electric blanket before, absolutely love this one. Its a pleasure to get into bed. Only downside for me was passing the tie cords under the heavy mattress. If I was buying another one, I would choose One that was fitted.

Lovely blanket, easy to use for my mother in law but I would buy one for myself! The only issue was it was advertised as having a remote control but that did not come with the blanket. Would have been nice but not essential for us.

My fault that u forgot to check it for dual controls, which it doesn't. Stopped working within a year and binned it. Previous one lasted 8 years

Electric Blanket - King Size
So I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the size of this (I ordered a king) and it fits the mattress fine, it doesnt cover under the pillows, which you dont need anyway. The British king is not as big as the American king though, so maybe thats where the confusion is. I put the blanket under a very thin mattress protector so I cant feel the thin heater ribs in it and its comfortable so far. I could easily sleep with a 2 (out of 3 settings) its not overly hot which is kind of a shame, sometimes you want very toasty for a few minutes. Overall, satisfied, the Scottish autumn in already more bearable at night.

Our reason for purchasing the underblanket was to warm the bed before we got into it. We have found it to be very efficient in warming the bed and once left it on number 3 setting and the bed was very warm - for those who like it that way. I like a cool bedroom to sleep in but found the sheets were a 'little too cool' so this item is perfect.
