This blanket is just what my Mum needed as she can use in bed or while watching telly. She is very happy with what she terms her "warm and fuzzy warmer upper" Thanks again!

I turned it on and left it on the maximum setting for 60 minutes as suggested. It was not nearly as warm as I needed it to be. Luke warm comes to mind as a description.

Electric Blanket - Double Size
i am absolutely loving this blanket! easy to use temperature settings (a very thoughtful touch to make the zero setting available at both end of scale on controller -- and could switch it off blindly), backlight so it's always clear when the blanket is on/off, the ridges not really noticeable under mattress cover+sheet, and of course, the WARMTH kicking in pretty quickly after you switch it on. A bargain for the price! One thing I haven't tried yet as this is a recent purchase is washing. But the instructions seem pretty clear on that. One thing to keep in mind: the size of the blanket WILL be smaller than full dimensions of your bed, and I think that's intentional: for my double bed, the blanket is ideally sized to heat everything that's under my duvet, that is, leaving the pillow area unheated. That would have been my preference, too, as I prefer to have my pillow area cool and fresh. But if you need that to be heated as well, perhaps consider buying the electric blanket in sizes bigger than your bed.

Electric Blanket - King Size
I bought a king size blanket for our double bed and it covers edge to edge so really toasty and very quick to warm up. The other major advantage is the plug is well located in the top corner so it is under the pillow and you do not end up lying on it which can be very uncomfortable.

It's a good warmer for the lower leg! Unfortunately I confused myself with size of it as it small .

I find this product very effective and easy to use,It was simple to set up but a little to short as it does not reach my feet to keep my little toes warm,I would recommend this product to people and I would recommend getting the bigger one as I feel the smaller on is not big enough as by bed is slightly bigger than a single bed.I hope it lasts be through the winter I have only had it a few weeks but so far so good!

this item is advertised as having a "remote control" for the heat setting. this is not true as the controller is in the power cable, "remote" means something that can be operated remotely. so beware when making your choice. this blanket does warm up really quickly and works fine with an memory foam mattress

Fleece Electric Heated Throw - Grey
My room becomes arctic at night and I have a double duvet; I bought this in the hopes it would be warm me up slightly at night. I also have a memory foam mattress, so the normal electric blankets wouldn't do. I was hesitant to buy this at first as so few people had, but I have no regrets now!Its been wonderful! The blanket, once having been turned on a few times, warms up within minutes - even on setting 1 for 9 hours, I wake up hot and often, kicking off my duvet in favour of the blanket. It's comfortable, a very good size (I have a single bed and it's slightly smaller than my duvet, which works well to keep my feet toasty without making me ridiculously hot) and you can barely feel the wiring. The remote being attached at the side can make it awkward to place at first, but compared to all the positives, it's nothing.I'd recommend this a million times over and just hope that the plug lasts long enough for me to keep full use - but so far, one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon so far! :)
