Amazing value for money for top brands, but I paid for next day delivery only for it to arrive two days later than stated.
I wasn't in a rush for my items, however, so am very happy with the service.

Great website, split into useful sections and easy to browse through and search items and quick hassle free delivery.
I found this website very useful and prices are very competitive, 99% of the items purchased were a lot cheaper than elsewhere. Considering as I bought a lot of items, including two large rucksacks I thought cost of delivery was very reasonable and items arrived in good time and were well packed to avoid any damage. As I am embarking on a big trip I looked through all the items on the websites and found the sections very useful and managed to find some really handy things that I hadn't even thought of purchasing. I would recommend this website to anyone.
One annoying thing is that I signed up for emails and special offers and have never received anything, offers, junk or otherwise (although no junk is a good thing), so I wouldn't recommend signining up for this in the hope of offers.

Dreadful customer services, do not use this company
Order not received at all & customer services refused to action the issue for a full 14 days, despite it being clear the order had gone astray. As it was for a birthday gift I had to source the items from elsewhere and missed the birthday. This could have been resolved efficiently and quickly but instead customer services refused to take any prompt action or offer an apology.

Very quick delivery, simple and efficient ordering system and good, clear photos of the products that don't look too staged or enhanced so you feel like you are actually seeing the real thing. Gapyeartravelstore offered the best price for the bag I wanted and the quality is incredible considering the price. I really enjoyed using it on my trip to Morocco although I will consider getting a top loading bag for a longer trip as I have since been reading up that you can stuff more into a top loader than a panel access bag of the same size, which seemed to be true as I felt I had packed the bare minimum (6 tops, 2 linen trousers, toiletry bag, flip-flops) but really, really struggled to zip the bag shut. The day bag was a delight to use - a perfect size, I put my big, heavy leather walking boots in there easily with still room for more and the whole thing was light to carry and very comfortable. Overall very happy and will continue to use the site as long as the prices are good.

Cheap and quick - best way to get equipment for an awesome journey
I am on my year abroad right now and I came to Britain with only 2 big suitcases. Travelling around a country with a suitcase isn't the most comfortable way. So I decided to get a big backpack. I found a nice one on the Gapyeartravelstore. So I ordered it and almost the next day I received my backpack and I am in love with him.. ;)

The communication from ordering to dispatch was swift and they emailed me at each step of the dispatch process to inform me of where my order was at. The items arrived quick and were all good quality, one minor thing was the pocket first aid kit I bought had a picture of a mini savalon tube but when I got it out it was a non branded antiseptic cream which isn't an issue but the picture is slightly misleading. Overall, very happy with my purchase and I would recommend and use this site again!
