And of course, knowing that the animals are living their best lives before slaughter is a plus. I've used this ground beef to make meatloaf once or twice, but prefer to make cheeseburgers. Almost perfect! Hearthstone Farms steak burger Pattie’s get 5 stars for flavor and leanness, it’s a quality burger. Weighing in at 6 oz. Per patty, they are a generous size. Having them pre-pressed is quite convenient. We are really pleased with this product overall. So why the 4 star rating, you ask? Well, we tried the burgers thawed and the paper squares stuck to the burgers. We tried the burgers from frozen and the papers were stuck to the burgers. We appreciate the 3 pack size (we use 2 packs if we need more). Also I wouldn’t mind a smaller size patty offered (say 4 oz.). I’d purchase both sizes ( lots of kiddies here). Hearstone Farm steak burger patties are delicious and we will purchase them again.
