Short Ribs
We cooked the short ribs this weekend, I found them to be very fatty. I know short ribs can be, but these were mostly fat. The meat that was on them was very tasty

Hi Ann - thank you for your review and your feedback. Short ribs can be a challenge - because they are a particularly fatty cut. - Dan

Filet Mignon
The tastiest, freshest, cleanest tasting steak I have had in years! Reminds me of how meat used to taste when I was a little girl! It also makes me feel so better feeding beef to my family knowing it is grass-fed and healthy for their heart and bodies. Thank you Farmer Dan!

Ground Beef
Tasted great! I love that it’s grass fed. Can’t taste the difference when it comes to the burger meat. But grass fed is supposedly healthier and the cow probably has a better life. So there’s that.

Farmer Dan's Meat Box
I received my second meat subscription box and was totally impressed again. The box was very well packaged and all the meat was frozen solid. The ordering process is very easy, great easy to use website, lots of choices and very flexible scheduling. The communication is great, you know exactly when your box will arrive. And the taste and quality of the meat is everything Farmer Dan says it is ... and more. Grilling season is here and I can't wait to try everything from the farm. Keep up the great work Farmer Dan and all at Heartstone Farm!

Shaved Steak
The shaved steak is so tasty and it makes great stroganoff. At first, I did not think that I should use it for that, but once I did, it was awesome.
