I slow cooked the brisket for 4 hours in the pressure pot and finished in the oven. Fork tender and rich flavor, my dad said it was the best meal he has ever had. I have always heard bad things about the taste of organ meats, so when I discovered that I should be eating liver to optimize my health, I was pretty apprehensive about the prospect. I did some research, and I am so glad that I found these livers from Heartstone Farm. They were packaged so thoughtfully, were super easy to thaw, and I didn’t really have to do anything to prepare them - they were already trimmed of any sinew and ready to go. I ended up pan frying them with some onions and they were honestly delicious. I will definitely be purchasing them again. I would highly recommend these for anyone new to organ meats!
