Farmer Dan's Meat Box
We’re on our third order and are so pleased. Not only is the meat very tasty but we can take comfort in the way the animals were raised. We just tried their sausage for the first time and we’ll definitely be ordering it again. And the box arrived quickly and in excellent condition, solidly frozen and ready for the freezer.

Whole Chicken
Just in time for the chick soup time of year! Getting a whole chicken feeds us for days for the first round of beautifully roasted chicken with that delicious crispy skin. It was a little over 5 lbs. and we had plenty for a couple of dinners, some yummy chicken sandwiches, and a yummy homemade chicken noodle soup! I made enough to put a few containers of soup into three freezer for another few meals. Delicious, healthy and economical! Thanks Farmer Dan!

The Farmer Dan Meat Box
Think it's too expensive and probably not worth it? Well don't worry it is totally worth it! The meat is top quality and affordable buying in bulk. We are a clean eating household. This is the closest we've come to getting products that are Maine based and healthy. Go for it!!

The best chicken breasts I have ever had!

Chicken Breasts
Until I started purchasing chicken breasts from Heartstone, cooking a chicken breast was definitely not something I would ever say, “Yum. Can’t wait!” I always cooked my chicken breast to chop up to add to other dishes, such as stirfry, salads, etc. And then I ordered my first chicken breast from Heartstone! I cooked as I normally do: lots of seasonings and in a frying pan. When finished I just cut off a little end to taste it! That piece of chicken never made it into any other dish. It became the focal point of my meals for two nights. It was juicy, flavorful, and it definitely indicates what one gets when purchasing ethically raised chickens without additives!! And now I only order my chicken, as well as pork and beef, of course, from Heartstone.

Family Farm Box
To be able to support our local farmers and ranchers as well as know the practices, ethics, and origins of our meat is a huge win. We were so pleased with our order and will absolutely be sticking around. Worth the very reasonable expense for the quality and service.

Ground Beef
You can’t ask for a better ground beef, right from the farmers, butcher, to your freezer/ table.
Free of injected and free from the big meat producer. I feel more confident getting my meat products from the small farmers verses the money hungry injecting producer.

I had heard of other outfits that support american Farmers. Heartstone farms give me the ability to choose products to make up the box you get and that is a very nice feature. Not only that but They are even more local than I realized I'm from Maine and their farm is in Maine , so not only am i able to support American farmers but im able to support one in my home state which is cool!

Farmer Dan's Meat Box
In this day and age, it seems everything is ultra processed. Even the foods you think are healthy for your family, are not so anymore. I have received 3 shipments so far, and have LOVED every product I have gotten. The meat is ultra tender and just tastes different. Beef, chicken, or turkey-it tastes GREAT with minimal prep/seasoning. The pies have been amazing, and the packaging is the best I have ever seen. If you break down the cost, it is not much more than the sub par grocery store items you buy. I have been incredibly satisfied and plan to continue my subscription. Thanks Heartstone and all your farms!! Mary Z -Delaware
