I am more then thrilled, that I finally found a farm that sells grass fed beef. Right here in my own state of Maine! “The way life should be”, So far I’ve only had the steak and I have to say, it was the best, most tender piece of beef that I have ever tasted! Every bite had so much flavor! Very juicy and satisfying in every bite! I also purchased the 14 day aged ground beef, I haven’t had the opportunity to try it yet, but I'm positive I won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to try their chicken and roast! First I need to make room in my freezer. Love your products! I will he ordering again, (I can’t wait)!

This is our second monthly box—I note this point, because clearly we kept the subscription after receiving the first box! Everything arrives carefully packed and still thoroughly frozen. The packages of meat are vacuum sealed, which is great because it means they won’t develop freezer burn (that’s if they were to stick around that long—an unlikely prospect!). Recently, we have especially enjoyed the ground beef not only in burgers, but also in a Greek baked ziti recipe that came out beautifully. (I almost feel badly mixing the meat in with anything else, because it’s so good by itself!)
Anyway, please consider this a ringing endorsement of Hearthstone Farm’s monthly Farm Box. They’re customer service is also terrific.
