First, the shipping process was punctual and the meats were packed very well. Tonight I tried the steakburger. This was excellent, it reminded me of the way a burger should taste. Looking forward to cooking the brisket next weekend and cooking the other items.

We’ve had a few deliveries from Heartstone Farm so far and have been happy with everything. The ordering is easy, the deliveries shipped well and in perfect frozen condition, and the meats have been great quality. I had to message customer service over Thanksgiving to delay an order and they were prompt and courteous with their response and very nice to deal with. I’ve used recipes from their site and they come out delicious. I used another recipe for the short ribs and everyone enjoyed their meal. They were fall apart, no knife needed, tasty! I would recommend Heartstone meats to anyone.

I purchased several steaks as a gift,Fed ex lost them not once but twice, the folksier at Heartstone Farm went above and beyond to make sure I got my gift.They repacked a third order on a Thursday and re shipped using UPS and in less that 24 hours I had my steaks.I can’t be happier they look beautiful;I have purchased from Heartstone previously and the meat was fantastic so im sure the review from my folks who will be receiving these will be great.If you haven’t tried you should!!

What an absolutely amazing family business :-) We moved from California to Portland last winter and I discovered Farmer Dan and his wonderful crew while seeking for humanely treated animals from which to eat small quantities of meat; something we've been trying to give up. While in a perfect world I'd be a vegetarian, I lack the discipline to do that and finding this magnificent farm with the most extraordinary meat I've ever tasted has done much to preserve our family's conscience. Any questions are immediately answered, everyone who works there is kind, respectful, and delightful to deal with. I am spreading the word to all of my friends and family that there is no better place to purchase meat than one where the animals are treated with love and kindness and raised in a truly beautiful environment. We absolutely love Heartstone Farm

Heartstone Farm's grass fed beef tastes amazing and the price is great. They offer a lot of flexible options for annual purchase based on your consumption. I've purchased a quarter cow each of the last two years and plan to do so again this year. Dan himself delivers the beef to me down in NH. He packs them in boxes so they are easy to stow in the freezer. I highly recommend them!2021 UPDATE: Still going strong with Dan and Heartstone Farm 3 years in! The beef has continued to be delicious while maintaining competitive pricing, so I'll be sticking around. Despite what sounds like a growing customer base, they still remain very communicative regarding deliveries and in answering my questions. They are also conscious about the packaging material they use while ensuring the goods remain frozen solid! They've continued to be very gracious in securing special cuts for our family gatherings. Keep up the great work!

Received my shipment today and though the beef tips and ox tails look amazing - very disappointed in the brisket that I received I would say that of the 4.5lb piece of meat I received over 2lbs is probably fat if not more. Considering the price I paid for it I would have expected a little more meat and less fat.
