We grew up in Romania, both my wife and I. Not that it matters. What matters is that we grew up with unprocessed meat, from our back yard small barns.
Heartsone Farm is bringing back the taste of childhood. There are other suppliers out there, of course, but the quality of their meat, along with the price they are asking for it , is hard to beat.
Aside,Farmer Dan is the way “ customer service” should be. Prompt.

We bought Heartstone’s ground beef after attending Heartstone Farm’s open farm event. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the farm and its philosophy. The cows are HAPPY, living and eating on beautiful, grass fields with their herd. The farmers were compassionate and passionate of the cows and their work on the farm. They informed us of the practices in place and why they have chosen to raise beef cattle in this holistic, very natural manner. But most of all, you could taste it in the meat. Its delicious and juicy and makes you feel good that you're eating a happy cow!

My wife, her sister and her husband and I visited Heartstone Farm last Sunday for the open house. We all were very impressed with Dan and his crew and their dedication to providing the best quality grass fed beef. The farm is beautiful and peaceful and well worth the visit. We purchased some burger patties and I can say without a doubt they are the best. My wife’s sister purchased 2 T-bone steaks and 5 pounds of ground beef and have already re-ordered though the web-site more because of the high quality and taste. I would urge everyone to try out some of Heartsone’s beef because you will definitely like it.

Great beef and great service. The meat is packaged nicely and arrives completely frozen. The beef tastes great. I buy many bone-in cuts, and the amount of flesh is generous. Go Dan!
My only suggestion would be to add heart, kidney, knuckle bones, and suet to the product list. There are so many reasons to eat nose-to-tail.
