I found my farmer! I have been super impressed with the quality, and service of Hearthstone farm. My order arrived fast, in superb condition with a handwritten note from Farmer Dan! I will be getting my bones and liver from them from now on.

I purchased a small order, porterhouse, ribeye and pork chops, to try. I was very surprised at the freshness, quality and taste of my order. It arrived perfect. If you haven't tried them..you should! I will definately order from them again and again!

Delicious grass fed beef. Steaks are perfect size! Excellent shipping experiences! Love buying local. Would definitely recommend.

Too thin that they were breaking off easily. I suggest better to make 1/2 inch thick and yes, that would make smaller rounds, but hold well.

ALL OF THE MEATS IN OUR LAST ORDER WERE WONDERFUL. STEAK TASTED LIKE A STEAK SHOULD. ONLY THINK I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE ABOUT THE FRJITA MEAT WOULD BE TO HAVE THE OPTIONS OF SMALLER PAXKAGES. THE ARE SOMETIMES JUST THE TWO OF US AND IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE JUST ENOUGH FOR ONE MEAL. EVERYTHING I HAVE ORDERED FROM HEARTSTONE HAS BEEN. EXCELLENT. WISH THEY HAD SOME LAMB CHOPS. GETTING READY TO PLACE ANOTHER ORDER TOMORROW

Henry - Thanks so much for your wonderful review - I am so glad to hear you are enjoying your meat. We do get that request - for smaller packages - from time to time and I'll look into it. Thanks - Dan

At this point, I've had two different steaks, both were tough and not as good as the supermarket steaks that I usually buy.
The steaks that we tried were the sirloin and the rib eye. Never again will I purchase from them since they don't even return phone calls. I wanted this to be private, but I might get a response this way. I dolon't even want to cook the rest of the order!
BAD PURCHASE!

My husband and I went to Scotland in March and discovered the magic of Scotch beef. Desperate to find a source of said Scotch beef here in the states my husband discovered Heartstone Farm.
We never imagined it would come close to the quality, flavor or texture of Scotch beef but hoped it would at least suffice. To our surprise, not only is the meat from Heartstone every bit as delicious, we also feel a deep sense of gratitude for the ability to source high quality, humanely raised meat so close to home.
We are so pleased with Farmer Dan’s products that we gobbled up our last box and had to move our order up 4 weeks earlier than expected!
If you love yourself you’ll go ahead and try a little of everything and you won’t be disappointed!

Quick shipping, arrived FROZEN! and they all look like great cuts of beef. Nice proportions that will be great for grilling or pan frying. I have used other beef venders and they meat usually arrives in the semi frozen-thawed state. Fair pricing too and best of all responsible farming which is a throw back to the farmers that lived around me when I was a kid.

Quality of the beef is phenomenal. Far superior in taste and tenderness compared to the big grocery stores. Yes, it may be slightly more, but like anything else in life, you get what you pay for.

I am about halfway through trying out everything I purchased with my first order from Heartsone a few weeks ago. Yesterday I grilled the two ribeyes I purchased, and my wife and I both loved them. They had great beef flavor, and were very tender. I definitely plan on buying more of these steaks.

This is our first time and so far we are very happy. The packaging worked to keep everything frozen in record high temperatures. The meat we have eaten is delicious and tender. One thing I am very happy about is that the individual packages don't leak while being defrosted.
