Hi, after using Jaikoz for many years, we think SongKong is the tool that fits us better. I use ist on a mac with big sur and it works just fine. I made step by step some adjustments for my way of using it. Thank you

The functionality is very feature-rich although some of the functions are not intuitive. For instance, I have managed to load an album twice on to the Melco Server but it is not easy just to delate 1 album. The delete duplicates is good but sometimes selects songs that you don't want to delete so then have to adjust the parameters to ensure the duplicate songs that need to be delted are selected.
Overall, a good product and worth the money

Very useful, but there one thing I don't like or don't understand. I want filer rename, that's ok, BUT no change in folders name and/or structure. That means tha each file has to stay always in the same origin folder, no new folder, no deleted folder no movement of files.

Hi Eugionio, to do this just check the 'Rename file part only' option on the 'Filenaming' tab

The combination of SongKong - trying to get 90% sorted automatically . and then picking up the rest with Jaikoz for some manual tagging works very well for me.

Good, way better than something like Tune up. Still a bit difficult on the interface front. Misses a number of things that are important to me, like all of the Grateful Dead live shows, but overall its pretty useful

SongKong is genuinely a great program that helps organize my music library in a very streamlined and accessible way. I can easily change how filenames are structured, which tags I want to include, and if I'd like to leave the folders organized in their current format. I am very happy that I picked this program up

I haven't fully used all the features, but I can tell you that it does a good job of batch processing. It has helped me correct some errors in my music collection and right now, it is my sole go-to utility for fixing mp3.

Nice to have the automation, but some strange track names showing the CD number twice (for an opera).
Not sure how to fix this.

Hi Tim, if you could run Create Support Files and post a screenshot of the offending tracks on the forums the I can help you with this.

Great program. Iâm like it a lot. Very glad I bought it. Indespensible now. Improvements I could suggest: Put green & white strips on background so we eliminate eye strain following the tags for each song. Also, a big one, possibly coordinate database feature to load select columns in Spotifyâs âSort your Musicâ on web into the program.

Hi, SongKong works really great on my Melco N100.
What I miss (or have not found yet) is to copy-and-paste selected metadates (for example album, albumartist, year, conductor, orchester, composer, work, overall_work) to another album or to chose more than one folder at the same time fĂŒr manual editing; that would be helpful for editing operas.

Hi, SongKong is primarily an automatic tagger, it does come with a web based manual editing facility so that you can directly edit your Melco files from a PC/Phone but it is currently quite simple.

It works well for my requierements. It is a real good help, tagging my music-collection, without wasting time with downloading several Cover Arts.
