Hi Robert, do you simply mean how do i fix multiple albums at a time? Either select the parent music folder or multi select the album folders, if that isn't clear please run Admin:Create Support Files so i can see your logs files and what you have tried.

So, SongKong did exactly what I needed on a 30yr old music collection with upwards of 150,000 tracks. My only issue is that during that time I was battling a hardware issue that popped up and when scanning and updating metadata if a crash occurred the database would be flushed and it was time to start over. Having persistency in the job and at the DB level would be great - though replaying logs and resyncing the job could be a challenge. On a collection of this size the first pass at fixing the files took around 6 hours - not bad and would likely have not run into issues at all had it not been for an overclocking issue on the hardware side.

Used it on my collection of about 15,000 songs. I needed to break the repair process down because it would otherwise stop somewhere in the middle of the process and would simply not continue. When I instead ran the repair sequentially over one or just a few albums, it repaired the whole collection. Needless to say that this is not very user friendly. Also, it seems to be not able to help with ripped CDs when the ripping yielded not meta data at all. It appears that SongKong is not able to identify such albums. Apart from these niggles, I found it very useful.

Hi Ulrich, usually SongKong should be able to identify ripped cds without any metadata, and it should finish to completion please run Create Support Files so I can look into this for you.

I had a fairly large collection of MP3s and FLACs built up over some years from various sources where folder names did not always accurately reflect album names or art work was missing.
Sonkong can address all of that albeit the initial learning curve can be a bit steep but the fact that you can run an operation on your files in preview mode to see what changes would be made provides a good degree of reassurance that it's not going to break anything.
The whole experience through purchase, installation, operation and near-immediate and personal support from the developer (Thanks Paul) via the forum is smooth and professional.

Not without some trepidation I started to use SonhKong on a few dozen CDs that I have ripped and was surprised to find that it was scrupulously accurate and was able to find proper metadata for even some obscure titles. I then went on to use it for several hundred ripped CDs. The software works swiftly, very easy to use, were on the side of caution so my metadata is not at risk and is great at re-cataloging classical music properly. The software has literally saved me hundreds of hours of tedious manual labor so I can enthusiastically recommend it to anyone - even my computer nerd friends - as a great time saver.

SongKong is a powerful tool for managing large music libraries, especially if you want to preview changes carefully before modifying thousands of files, as is my case. Its reports and scripting options give you much more control than a basic tag editor.
The downside is usability. The interface and reports can be confusing at first, and some important functions are not easy to find or understand.
Overall, I see SongKong as a capable specialist tool: very useful once you understand it.

Finally an easy to use software for finding meta data information. And then tagging the music is very easy. The tutorial needs some work though. Specifically is needs to be written for the lay person. It is not an easy read, but I can get a lot done with it.
