Used Jaikoz some days. It´s very complicated and complex. Especially tagging classical music is not satisfying in the Moment. Jaikoz automatically Tagging shows as result for the 3 disc album of Johann Sebastian Bach Mattaeus Passion by conductor Richter different CD-sources and metatags. If you tag manually only for 9 of 21 tracks alternative Metatags will displayed. If the Tags are the correct one ist nearly impossible. And it ist very very slow. For Tagging 100 Cds it may be ok. To tag 1000 classical and 2000 other CDs it´s a challange. Maybe I have to lern mor About the tool but some webinars on YouTube would be very helpful.

This is one of the best programs I have found for viewing and editing IDTag information in batch. It isn't the easiest to understand interface, but none of the functions will cause irreversible changes in your files and you have to save to intact those changes. The same can't be said for its partner program SongKong.

This is a very powerful program, but also very complicated and documentation is confusing in some areas. For important functionality, like renaming files, it is not obvious how you do things. You need to be aware of the functionality of options and functions critical to your application and test it on copies of your files before you do a lot of processing. Not having this understanding can cause you more work if you are not careful. Once you understand how to use the program it can save you an amazing amount of time, but you need to spend the time to learn and test the program.

Issues with folder names: SongKong is using not allowed characters, like "?" in folder names.
Works direct on Melco, but no access (copy, move or delete) via Windows or Linux

I must admit, that initially after I had purcased a melco musicserver I loved the sound but had a sceptic view on the automatism of meta-data correction. The reason was, that up to now, I already had spent a lot of time for music tagging manually. After reading your helpful user guide "songkong for melco" I dared to try it out. In the end I see, that SongKong expands metadata in a reliable and checkable way. After some minimserver-configuration I now love the browsing nearly as much as the listening. Thank you very much!

SongKong saved me after I downloaded my mp3s from Google Music. It was a nightmare receiving the files withough the original folder structures and even the original names. SongKong scanned, identified, and renamed them saving me from trying to do it by hand or just deleting them and calling it a day.

This piece of software is the life saver for me. I’ve been dreaming about it for years and I didn't know it exists. :-D It worth every penny.

It works. Identifies the wrong versions every time, but at least identifies the correct album. tags are set with correct attributes but tag data is often a bit off. If there was a way to shortlist suitable candidates, the user could then ensure the right version is tagged

Hi, SongKong will correctly determine the correct album version where there are variations in the track listing, track order or different versions of tracks on the album. If the exact same version is released with different packaging or in different countries then SongKong cannot automatically determine the correct one form fingerprinting the songs but you can specified preferred album format (CD, Vinyl etc) and country to make it more likely that one is selected.
