Is a decent product for identify the contents of a mixed CD or a set of media that has wrong or missing information. Is not a great tool to search through an already organized media collect.

I like the software and prefer it to competitor products but the automation l, which I prefer strongly to a full manual song confirmation, has led to some song/album errors persisting in my collection.

Hi Derek, please email support any specific issues, also remember that SongKong does have an Undo task and also Manual edit mode for making adjustments.

Need some time to understand all options and to get used to it but all WAV files downloaded from Qobuz fixed with very good results for Melco in combination with minimserver. For me all report functions not really useful…..(is it not possible to make Songkong a standard piece of program in Melco software, fully automatic??)

Hi Jurgen, expect SongKong to become a standard install on Melco hardware soon.

this programs has saved me thousands of hours of work for a very low price. I love it, and hope to send in some suggestion to see if they can be done under the Windows 10 enviroment.

Ive only given SongKong a score of three, not so much because of the application, which seems to work fin, but the lack of clear advice for new buyers. The support service has been helpful. But a basic booklet that says these are the thing you need to check before starting, if you want to active these things then you need to set Songkong as follows. Something like this would have saved me a great deal of time (for example why is my current clean up splitting up my albums into copies of a few track each?

Hi Colin we have tutorials at http://www.jthink.net/songkong/tutorial.jsp I have emailed you separately but the problem with copies is due to your iTunes configuration I think you are adding form iTunes lib into another, you can definitely prevent iTunes making copies by disabling the iTunes options Preferences:Advanced:Copy files to iTunes Media Folder when adding to Library

Love it!
It did take me several extended searches to find you, so you would be better served to find a service to increase your visibility.
Thank You

Yes it has a steep learning curve, the interface is not modern by todays standards but there is one thing that separates if from all the others I have tried. It works. I have over 25000 songs, not alot by some standards but it is a legacy collection stretching back to the 80s. If you have used iTunes (singularly the worst media player ever conceived) then you know the kind of chaos it wreaks to the point of almost uselessness.
Jaikoz fixed over 95 percent in less than one afternoon and a couple passes. That says it all.

HI Randall
Have you tried rerunning, usually get a few more matches second time round by making use of the information added in the first run.

It's very good, does a great job at helping to fix & sort metadata of my big MP3 audio library. There are a few small hiccups with usability and the UI (a bit overcrowded and not so obvious what should be the workflow in there) but I've tried many alternatives so far (including free ones) and this is the best one I found. Simplest to use, it produces good results and finds most data needed to clean out my library. Well worth its reasonable price. Thanks!
