Jaikoz
Jaikoz does what it is supposed to do. The interface works well and operations a fast. Sometimes music (CDs or downloads) arrives with very ropey metadata. Cleaning it up and adding to it with Jaikoz is a snip.

Jaikoz has been very, very helpful in cleaning up my music collection. I use it in conjunction with the SongKong product, and everything just works.

SongKong
A nice, easy to understand and use piece of software. It was fairly fast and the accuracy was superior to other tagging software I had used (Tuneup). On average SongKong correctly identified 81 percent of my collection. I would have given five stars but was not too keen on the HTML Javascript report interface.

Hi Kevin, thankyou for your review, I think the current report is a bit too techical we are going to add a new section to the report that lets you browse your releases by album cover art and see the track info for that album when you click, simailr to how you might browse when using iTunes or a UPNP Control point, I think you may prefer that when it is available. The advantage of having html reports rather than embedded within SongKong itself is that you do not even need SongKong to be running to view them.

Interface feels a bit outdated and isn't always intuitive. However, metadata retrieved is generally accurate.

Actually I am missing one feature: automatically splitting an album in separate discs when such an album has actually more discs when it was released. Or, maybe the feature is present but wasn't I able to find it in the masks. The masks are very useful, I think, but for many users they will too difficult to understand them. And I am one of those users.

Hi Rene
Yes you can certainly save files so there is a folder per disc instead of per album, just ensure you have Rename Filename from Metadata enabled on the Basic tab and that you have selected a suitable rename mask on the Filenaming tab, these are ones with 'DiscIfMultiDisc' as part of the mask name. We have quite a few predefined mask so that you do not have to create your own, but I understand that creating your own mask is not totally trivial.

Truly an awesome app. I tried others that attempt to do what this one does gracefully and without issue. Best money I've ever spent for cleaning up my music library. Keep up the excellent work!

I use Jaikoz Audio Tagger to name, verify, and standardize music files ripped from my CD collection. Its easy and simple to do. I dont do sophisticated tagging but tagging a music library is simple and accurate with Jaikoz Audio Tagger.

I'd say that Jaikoz is the best tag editor. I bought the Full license ten years ago and a Pro license about six years ago and it still is running great. Frequently updated and perfectly functional, Jaikoz does the job and lets you tag the files just like you want it, and the MusicBrainz and Allmusic integration are its killer features. A redesigned UI would be appreciated, although it's not critifcal for such a niche piece of software.
