I've been using Jaikoz for several years. It is one of if not the best tools for managing the file names, folders, and meta data for your music library.

I use Jaikoz on a regular basis to tag, sort, and de-duplicate my mp3 collections. It is invaluable tool in managing any audio collection. Money well spent.

I haven't come close to testing the full capabilities, but so far I am really pleased. I'll let you know when I figure out automation. I bought SongKong, but I think I asked it to do too much. I thought it would read and identify gigabytes of music if I gave it enough time. I'm proceeding more slowly and cautiously with Jaikoz, but so far so good.

My go-to app for ages if it‘s about tagging music, cleaning up untagged files from friends or forgotten HDs and USB sticks. If you can‘t get it done with Jaikoz or Songkong, nothing will get it done! Another plus is Paul’s outstanding support throughout the years. Got an issue? Paul solves it. Have no idea how to achieve xyz? Paul jumps with both feet into the riddle and points you to a solution. If that sounds like I’m on the brink of marrying, I’m already beyond that, I happily bought Songkong and Jaikoz and upgraded both to Pro.
Many thanks Paul for your work, I really appreciate it!

I have had the program for several years, but didn't really know of the really great built in capabilities. The simple interface has really great options for formatting data output. Spend time looking below the surface, you will not be disappointed.

Very versatile tool, although not always very easy to understand - for instance, why are there four or five options to open / insert files? However, the documentation is rather good. Don't use it very often at the moment, between I do, it saves me a lot of time.

SongKong
Brilliant! Having tried several other programs which literally vaporized portions of my library and made a jumbled mess out of other parts, this program worked as advertised. The program and support system demonstrates a pride in workmanship that is rarely seen these days. The price is very fair considering the time it saves and the data it provides.

A really deep, effective way to clean mass quantities of metadata. It gives very fine control over details, which I appreciate, and even the "fully automatic" corrections are darn good.

A great program which allows me to have consistent metadata for all of my music. Essential for anyone who is serious about having accurate data for their digital music collection.

I just wish I could remember the keyboard shortcuts, otherwise very good.

Jaikoz
Jaikoz is a great piece of software. It would get 5 stars if: a) it would be developed as native applications for each platform (in my case macOS), as Java look and feel is really spoiling the overall impression of the application; b) if small but annoying bugs would be fixed earlier. If Jaikoz would appear as a native macOS application, I would be more than willing to purchase it again (and pay more than the first time) - the functionality is really great, but Java-based GUI is absolutely ruining it.

Hi Dragan. The reaiity is that is if a different native language was used for OSX, Windows and MAC all versions would work differently, and there would be features and bugs in one version that would not be in another. The only viable solution is to use a cross platform tool such as Java, the difficulty is that Java Gui is slightly better aligned to Windows way of working than OSX, as am I the developer. But most issues can be resolved if I am aware of the issue, some things are harder to do in Java than an native OSX app but the bigger issue is not being aware of the problem so please email support your particular concerns.
