has apparent lag issues with large amounts if tabbed out of the program but otherwise a great piece of software

Jaikoz is the best tagging software, I was waiting for a long time for AIF support and is it here already. Thank you for a great work.

Jaikoz
I have used Jaikoz in 7 years, maybe once a month, as the only and best music tagger. Have ripped all our music CD’s (more than 1000) to mp3 for use on a NAS and our phones and car-audio. Then stored the CD’s airtight in boxes in the cellar.
The greatness of Jaikoz is its ability to make any music file ready with al meta-tags and cover-art for fx iPhones etc. instantly.
The spreadsheet like interface is very fast in tagging a whole album in one operation. The very good interface justify’s Jaikoz in its self.
Jaikoz has a very good automatic music identification function that magically identifies even music extracted from fx. YouTube video or other untagged footage. Tagging with both all mp3 meta-tags and cover-art. It is also possible to easily add your own meta-data or your scanned cover-arts from your own CD’s.
The license agreement has been very fair. Have received updates through 7 years on the same license.
I can defiantly recommend Jaikoz if you are doing private music tagging.

Jaikoz is helping me to clean a library of more than 10 years of MP3s. I am a long time client, and just upgraded my license. If you take seriously your mp3 library, you cannot have Jaikoz in your arsenal.

Jaikoz has the most comprehensive support for different file types and tagging formats of any tagging application with a graphical user interface that I've found. It's always the first thing I try and I hardly ever need to use another tool.

Some things work for you and some don't. I have used Jaikoz for years so maybe I am just used to it and how it works. SongKong is completely unusable for me. I attempted to use it twice and while it seems to run fine on my boxes I find it counter-intuitive and chaotic to work with. Uninstalled within two hours both times I tried it. If you are a Jaikoz user stick with it.

Sorry it didn't work for you Michael, but if you haven't tried it for a while you may consider giving it a 3rd go. But this demonstrates why I created SongKong and jaikoz instead of trying to turn Jaikoz into SongKong, different people work in different ways and there is no perfect product that is right for everyone.

Great product with minimal upgrade support. I requested one change and author wanted $100 bucks. 6 years later the feature has not been added :(

great software for a very unique problem.
Pretty much the only problem that can really help organizing a mixed up music collection.
