Excellent program but with a steep learning curve.

The best! Everything you may ask for, is there.

When tracks are pulled into the software they rarely show up in the correct order and usually Track 01 is shown still as Track 01 but second on the list.

Also I'll be damned if I can get it to work on my work laptop - keeps saying I've got no licence. It's as clear as mud which file you copy and into which folder you put it on a second PC. It would be great if I could tag some tracks in my lunchtime at work.

Occasional problems with album art not showing despite the folder.jpg file being under the maximum limit set. Once is doesn't show there is no way to fix it apart from a complete scan of your library by the app used to play the music.

Apart from that it's a great piece of software and recommended.

An outstanding and highly useful application. Jaikoz is the only such utility that I have found that can most correctly identify metadata tags for single files that are not residing in album directories. My only desire is that it could access more online databases for identification.

I've been using Jaikoz for many years. It is my go-to software when I need to edit metadata on my files. I really like the fact that you can bulk edit files.

Jaikoz is an excellent editor, for me the match excellent flac support and match to one album feature are the most of the time musicbrainz works, DiscCogs seems to know a bit of classical that music brainz doesn't. Being able to define the file and folder based on meta data is also critical for organizing my collection and is easy and stable. Saves hours of time and makes my music collection manageable.

An amazingly easy decision when considering how complex it can be to edit and organize your music collection.

The software looks a little old fashione but if you are willing tomanually fine tune your library is does an excellent job.

I use it only to edit files information and it works very well !

I love it...

Jaikoz is a well supported product. Most of the time music is identified and labeled appropriately. I wish the percentages were greater and that would be dependent on the database.

Amazing program. Only issue I have is not being able to tag from Discogs when the release has only recently been added. It seems to constantly be looking at a slightly old version of the database or something

Easy to use, the best for Metadata etc

Good functionality but ui needs an update and some functions not explained.

1. My biggest problem is the lack of automation. I have a workflow where every step is automated, except I have to start SongKong manually.

I would love to either be able to start SongKong (with default or, even better, specific settings) from command line, or to have an option in the program "Schedule to run [10] minutes after the previous loop finishes."

2. The program cannot process folders with more than ~100 files in one folder. It goes to "completed" state right away, as if there are no music files at all. Moving files manually into multiple separate folders solves the issue, and SongKong processes exactly the same files with no problems. It's a minor issue, though, as I don't have such use cases often.

3. There is a noticeable degradation in performance on large data sets (tens of thousands of files) with "All existing folders represent a single album" option turned off.

4. It would be nice to be able to set the OS application/process priority in the settings. I sometimes do it through a terminal to make SongKong run faster, but it has to be done after every restart.

5. I think it makes sense to move "All existing folders..." option to the "Basic" tab, or to move "Only allow match..." options to the "Match" tab, as these three options are mostly used together. I never change other options (after configuring them to my liking), but these three options I use all the time.

6. It's great to see periodic improvements in the program. I am always excited to see a new update.
