Great app

It works fine with regular cd's. I also noticed that it altered at least one song with a completly different artist and title. Furthermore I agree with the comments about the layout.

Jaikoz came through in the eleventh hour. A big project would not have made it out the door without Jaikoz's speed (it was the fastest software for tagging large groups of MP3s that I tried), and it's ability to find and replace values within certain MP3 tags. A big thank you to Paul as well who responded promptly to an email question. The price is certainly worth it: not only for the app itself, but also for the support behind it.

My overall experience was positive, and I especially appreciated how quickly I received responses to my inquiries. Note that some of SongKong's best features are unfortunately only available in Pro. Thanks.

Thanks Daniel, Pro version offers BPM and acoustic analysis, you can see the differences at http://www.jthink.net/songkong/en/versioncompare.jsp

I ordered SongKong nearly 2 weeks ago - never got the license email. I emailed JThink and I posted asking for help on the forum page - no response.

I am very sorry, your license was sent automatically time of Purchase but your email server doesn't seem to like my server and rejected it. I was on a weeks holiday at the time when you sent your followup email and I think I may have seen it but was not able to fix the issue there and then, and then the task got lost. I have now sent the license, and sorry again for the delay.

Awesome software, very powerful, almost limitless. It takes a little effort to get it configured the way you want it, but the possibilities make it perfect for even very complex needs.

Hi.
I've used SongKong on about 10 albums so far, trial and error approach, configurating & testing, etc. It's been 100% accurate with my music and correctly identified and fixed to my specifications. Great work with the programming.
My only 2 complaints are; Album art quality, not so hot for all but one of my albums. I prefer album art from Fanart.tv as they look best on my home theater screen and 4K computer display compared to the lower, smaller resolutions as pulled by SK and some other like software. What I ended up doing, after fixing with SK, I scan with Picard and Ignore any suggested corrections Picard offers which are about 5 differences that are unimportant to me. I don't want to have to run my music through 2 different tagging softwares, doubling the time it takes for the finished product.
My second complaint is not a deal breaker, but it would be nice to have user selection. One of Picard's differences is the leading Zero on Disc numbering (01). I've found that some music players ignore the zero anyhow (foobar2000 for example) and Picard doesn't use leading zero's by default when tagging. I see that sometime back a user requested for a choice to have a 0 leading for disc numbers. The current setting is either, none, leading zero or double leading zeros. I'm asking for another option, 'only for tracks'. Like I said, not a deal breaker, just one thing less for me to have to correct to my liking.
Overall, I'm asking for you to have Fanart.tv as a source for album art. You could even have an extra charge (yearly or priced for x amount of album art tags from FA) and contribute some monies to their cause as a way to offset the extra server requests, etc.
Users would need their own API and that option could be off unless it's a paid add-on...?
Purchasing and getting my codes was fast and painless. Your attention to details and constant updates, tweaks and new additions was my deciding choice to purchase over blisshq.
Looking forward to see where you take SK. I still have 2,000+ albums to tag! :-)
Cheers.

A lot of the songs have been provided with album covers, bps and a host of metadata. It doesn't clear out the comments sections, it also created a whole bunch of missing songs needing to be located.... Luckily i have song sargent that reconnected them again.....

I admire the software developers commitment and I use the software often. I have emailed the developer on a few occasions and got immediate response which is amazing.

Excellent program, the quick start works well but there is so much more as you become more familiar with the program

I use Jaikoz for years and it's the most complete MP3 Tagger I've ever used. I had to write a specific MP3 version to have my car's radio show all information and Jaikoz was able to do it. Its interface is not the most beautiful but its features are great. There have been no paid updates ever since so the value for buying it is really great compared to other tools which require upgrade fees for major releases (which always is in the hands of the developer to determine).

My license stopped working with the latest update. The developer couldn't have been more helpful and delivered a solution immediately. Very impressed.
