Launched SongKong at my 1,500 mp3 collection and so far I have found only one mistake. Very impressed.

Great program. The job it does on auto correct without needing to really go deeper is astounding.

Probably very good if you can understand it. I found the interface unintuitive, but the support was quick. So good for computer oriented types but not for people that just want to tidy up their collection. Better to use SongKong.

What I don’t like is selecting hidden files, even in .Trash.
Weakness is compilations, would help if marking an album with compilation flag was possible.

I give 4 stars for tagging 80 percent in the case of pop music.

I'm using jaikoz on osx. It is very good for me. I was looking for a tag editor that allows me to change large groups of files, ordered in any way I want and saved on my nas. I use it to get my tags consistent. It is working for that.
I do think the interface should be more native though. It is too much Java instead of osx controls in my opinion. A lot of features react differently from what you're used to.
For instance, Saving only saves the records that are actively shown by the filtering.

Functionl and does what it claims.

Early days yet, but so far it has been very helpful in sorting out a few “unknowns” in my music library. There is a lot to learn in using SongKong properly, but I am sure that with time a bit of “trial and error” all will become clearer.

Just the best, there is nothing else I can say. I've used it for well over a decade and it's just the top of the heap. I cannot think of a missing feature that I'd possibly request.

Works well. Has done a good job cleaning up my music directory. Makes Roon more usable.

I wish my scan settings would remain after each use.. only some settings come back, and not all the time. Otherwise it's a darn good software, I'm not using MusicBrainz Picard anymore! EDIT : very fast reply from developer that the bug for the scan settings will be fixed in next version, review updated!

Software in my opinion delivers most of the time desired results. It lacks user friendliness with many options. I also miss being able to allocate manually a release in Discogs when the program doesn’t find the best match

Overall very poverfull software!!! But the interface is minimalistic Many options with help (ok) reminds me somehow old windows version. I think the inerface need a lot of work to be user friendly and more pleasant to the eye. Also i did't expect the program to stuck in defective mp3's or other audio files without bypass them or after the job done inform that this files are some how wrong! I say this because there is no meaning (in huge collections) to have such powerfull automation if its not working! I bought this software to fix quickly my collection and because of this (tiny problem) i do the hard job manually cost me ours and ours! I thing jaikoz is much better solution for me! You need to correct this, the glitch whas vbr mp3 header to cbr mp3 file! The foobar fix this the mp3val also fix this and if its stuck just stops to that last file so i can see were was the problem! I now and i understand the difficulty to make a program with to many options to work flawesly but the truth is that all options for me worked surprisingly well exept that the program stucks in defective files. So i give you 4 stars because there is always room fo improvement.

Filled in a bunch of holes in my library

It's very good, however the reports are not showing the song changes on the right of the html page.
I have not had a chance to look properly so it could be possible it is user error.
