The only problem I had was that it had taken quite a few complete albums and Identified them as being parts of other albums such as "Best of" and other various and random compilation discs.

Hi Bruce. Certainly if your songs are already organized one folder per album this should never happen with the default settings, it can happen if you have a single folder containing multiple albums because then it can be difficult to work out the correct groupings, especially for compilation albums. If you email me your support files I can take a more detailed look for you.

Quite a sophisticated package with many options. Sorted my music library very well and quickly. Some errors spotted and required work by me to clean up.
More assistance or advice needed on why files not matched and solutions as this may lead to split databases.

Works pretty well but some serious bugs. It mis-identifies frequently. Also will not identify sometimes in a batch of files but if done one at a time (tedious) it seems to work. Once it has identified something wrong, even if you provide hints it is difficult to get it to try again properly without restarting the app.

By default Jaikoz does release based matching. This means that it generally assumes a folder represents an album and only allow match if all songs in that folder match to that album, it does make exceptions for folders of random songs but sometimes it is difficult to for it to work out if a folder represents an album or not.
When it matches songs individually but not at one time it is usually because it has incorrectly assumed a random folder is an album folder, to get round this just disable the Preferences:Remote Correct:Only allow matches if all songs in grouping matched option. I'm suprised you say Jaikoz misidentifies, do you mean right song wrong album if so I suspect this is due to your workaround of matching one song at a time because this gives Jaikoz less contextual information to work with. Once matched the song will have various Ids added meaning that a rematch will ignore those already matched but you can change this by disabling Preferences:MusicBrainz:Automatch:Do not match if has a MB recording Id.

HI, there is offline manual (Help:Offlline Help), i.e a manual that does not need internet access but there is not a PDF version that can be printed off, I should definently add this.

I like the program. I've struggled for years with tagging my giant classical music library. With SongKong everything was automatically tagged within 22 hours. The "work" and "movement" feature is more than welcome since iTunes finally takes classical music serious.
I give only for stars due to the really bad german translation. I'd rather have changed the language to english, but I didn't find any language switcher.

Thankyou Hans Im glad SongKong is working well for you, Apologies for the German translation, the majority was professionally translated but some new features have been added with an auto-translation as it is not practical to get only a few lines translated at a time, I plan to have the whole translation reviewed soon. In the meantime you can use the File:Preferences option if you would prefer to use English.

Hi John, currently the composer name is shown as FirstName, LastName but it is sorted by LastName (using the ComposerSort) field. Currently you could either configure SongKong to not overwrite the Composer field and/or use another tool to copy ComposerSort field into the Composer field but I understand some customers do prefer to just see the lastName or lastName (Birth year) so I plan to add an option especially for Composers to do this.
