A great tool to complete the music database. I just miss some settings about what to leave as is, and what to change. There should be a possibility to update the metadata without changing the filename. Change the filename may be excluded below however, but this is a little bit confusing...

A good time saver. I wouldn’t let SK loose on my entire library but it gets things right most of the time. I recommend. Can’t work out why it sometimes splits multiple discs into separate folders. It occasionally forgets the base folder which is on my desktop - sometimes puts the music/folders on the desktop rather than in the desktop folder.

Hi Darren, are using a rename mask that split each disc into separate folder, yo can check the base folder/sub folder split on the basic tab before preceding, any more questions please post on the forum.

Really smooth, but the album artwork gets all messed up in my Naim Superuniti app.. Even though the everything is fine in the folders.

Hi Lars, if using Naim app just must be using a uPnp server, so the question is have you updated the index on your uPnp server to pick upthe chnages made by SongKong, happy to help if you post question on forum.

Jaikoz and Songkong works well sometimes and does not at other times. They need to know when the lookup is for an album so it does not report things like 24 total tracks. Then sometimes it "finds" all or some of the tracks but on inspection many or all the track names are incorrect. What do we do to force Jaikoz to be more accurate when this happens? I do prefer Jaikoz because it is easier to edit when things go wrong.
eg of problem: Jerry Butler Lp, Name:You And Me, Mercury lebel, Sr No. SR-61269. 10 tracks total. I entered the artist's name and the Album Title for track 1 and submitted to Jaikoz. Result Track 1, Different Album Title, Correct Name of Song and Correct antwork. Tried again result: Not the same album title as above but still incorrect and Incorrect track name and different artwork.
How to get better result from Jaikoz?

I've been using it (7.2 / 1126) in anger for a few weeks now on a windows 10 desktop. Processing is fine and it appears to successfully work as expected in most cases. Fully expecting it not to clean everything up since some of my FLACS are not in good shape so garbage in/garbage out as they say.
HOWEVER the desktop UI is poor and needs some work. Of course this doesn't necessarily impact performance but it is freeware standard. I currently process my batches through SongKong and some Freeware which I would position as equally as good. They do things slightly differently I assume, notwithstanding one invariably picks up items the other has failed to fix (and their UI is much better).
Overall I'm fine with it hence the rating....Planning to attack the Classical part of my collection shortly so looking forward to see how it handles that.

Jaikoz is a very powerful ID3 tagger with many advanced options, however the interface is a bit dated and I have found it difficult to use at times. My music collection is very eclectic and it does have difficulty matching many of my tracks, but it works very well for mainstream music. I hope development continues and improvements are made. Better documentation would always be welcome. Keep up the good work!

While the ap helped with meta data tagging and labeling, I wish it had done more to fix library issues. For example, I have yet to find an application that intelligently assists with albums. For example, if I have 7 tracks in my library from a deluxe album version and 3 that are not labeled as on the deluxe album, why can't an application fix this automatically? While I will continue to use the application for labeling and advanced playlists, I wish it did more without manual review.
