This e-collar is easy enough for an old-fashioned handler to use, and it gets my very distractible dog’s attention without stressing him out. It works!

I learned about these collars from a dog trainer we met after getting our puppy. Was hesitant to get one until she showed me more about them and I got to feel it on myself. I realized it's not painful just more like a twitch if set appropriately. We train mostly with treats but for difficult behaviors this collar helps a lot .

I have 9 standard poodles
3 no longer bark
I put the boys in separate yards so they dont fight
Different dogs ea day in large pen
Always putting collars on different dogs
Also if i add leash the metal snap can cause a shock
Sometimes they control barking and some dont seem to work
Is leaving them in a sunny field a no no? Overcharging them?
THANK YOU

I have a deaf Aussie / Border Collie pup. Needed a training collar to get her attention. The Dogtra collar I purchased was everything I needed. Had some questions and the customer service was wonderful. Very helpful and knowledgeable. 5 star company for sure!

Thiscollar is definitely business. Both collar and receiver fell in hot tub and no problems. I have a dog that has a high pain tolerance and on 40 he knows to stop dead in his tracks. The page button is all i use now. Very good collar

Purchased this on the recommendation of my trainer. The web site was easy to navigate and order from and the price was comparable to Amazon and with purchases like this I would rather buy direct than through a 3rd party.
Remote and receiver seem like good quality construction. I am new to e-collars and therefor cannot tell you too much but I have been able to use it with a little bit of training from a professional trainer. I do wish there was a design that made the use easier for both left and right handed operation. If the readout was on the top of the unit it might be better but I'm inexperienced so there may be a reason it's designed the way it is I am sure that other more seasoned professionals have contributed to the design of this.

Educator Biothane Bungee Strap w/ Metal Quick Snap
I'm training my dog as a service dog and this collar just makes life easier. When you have to put it on the moment the day starts you don't want to be standing there trying to guess the right tightness. This makes it easy! It's a snap and we are on our way!

I have had a dogtra collar for over 15 years- this is my 3rd. I am very impressed with the changes- stronger page signal, and sturdier construction/ easier to use. Highly recommend to anyone with a large dog provided they have been properly trained/acclimated. This collar can really make a huge difference off leash. Once trained, I rarely need to utilize other than the page button.

Dogtra Pathfinder
After receiving a new Golden Retriever pup, I began researching tracking collars. I was skeptical of the Pathfinder, being a new collar on the market and limited reviews.
I have to say, this was one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. The features/functions on this are great. I rarely lose track of the dog but love the peace of mind that I know where she is at all times. I had been training her to respond to a whistle and she took very quickly to the audible tone function as an alternative.
Antenna length is a bit long for my needs but understand this is in support of the long range. Battery life seems good, I rarely have it on for longer than a few hours and seems to retain good charge over time.
The map history is cool to see the distance traveled by dog vs. myself. Hoping over time that software updates will provide more details into this. For example: speed, number of corrections, etc..
Great job Dogtra!
