Wheel purchased with tube and tire. Inflated tire to recommended pressure and it exploded. They don't test prior to shipping. Sent replacement wheel to wrong address. No instructions were included. E-wire exits on right side of bike. Wheel works great.

Purchased a 250watt e-bike kit and converted my mountain bike. Loved it so much I bought a second kit! Great customer service- all of my pre-purchase questions answered and the kit was easy to install.

Moved this kit to a better bike as the old bike had a catastrophic failure causing me to hit the pavement at 20 plus miles an hour. This kit has been a life saver due to a knee injury when my old bike frame snapped I now have to use the motor for the whole ride I only assist it on the steepest hills before I only used it to help on the hills. I have let my boss from work try it out he is much younger and lighter but has much farther to go he is now saving his money to get one of the kits with a longer range.

My bike riding experience has become much more fulfilling since I decided this investment. I enjoy riding along the bike trail at the beach and my goodness, I'm having an absolute blast with the kit. It's like what the reviews I read within the website. The 250 Series is plenty for any bike enthusiast. I wanted to keep the traits of my bike simple, but with modern touches. I'm beyond satisfied with my purchase of this kit and anyone else that says otherwise, buy one for yourself and you'll change your mind the second you go riding. It's also a great stress reliever too. The customer service is awesome!

I got the 20 mile kit for my 80-year-old mother To help her out with the hills. Installed pretty quickly and was able to ride myself. I was shocked by the power that it had. It really flattens the hillls! It is truly a winner and so much less expensive than a store bought ebike. Mom loves it! My only complaint is the crappy battery bag. It is worthless. Everything else is high quality but the bag is sub par. Easily rectified with a 10 dollar handlebar Nager from Walmart. Maybe you should just use those instead. Perfect for routing with front wheel.

The installation video was helpful. I did not find online installation instructions. If I missed them my apologies. I took my bike to my local bike shop for a tune up. The owner of the shop doing the work for me asked about instructions and I referred him to the video on your web site. Unfortunately he is not very computer literate so he wanted the good old fashioned printed instructions and I was unable to provide that for him. I am very pleased with my 500 series kit.. So much so, I will be getting a kit for my wife's bike. My online experience with Mandy for follow-up items was exceptional. However, the initial shipment was incomplete and several follow-up shipments were required to get my kit fully installed.

All I can say is what a blast! Bike riding became fun again as we can travel farther and longer without fatigue. I wish I made the purchase years ago. I am almost 50 and in good shape but this is a whole new world of biking now. My daughter has a bone disease and the exercise is great for her. This allows her to enjoy biking in a whole new way. I had great customer service the whole way through. Thanks again!!

The support from Leeds Bike was great, purchase and shipping went without any problems.
The retrofit to the bike worked out really well and as expected provided the electric power support especially on steep grades. The motor provides great force uphill, hence the addition of the hub motor makes riding in the hilly neighborhoods of Seattle easy.
Once installed the system has been working flawlessly and we are happy with the purchase. The installation did take a bit longer than anticipated, there was some tight fit issues at the fork bracket which we could correct with some filing. Overall the install took about 30 40 minutes.

I had an old huffy in the shed. I was paying way too much for parking on campus everyday. The Ebike kit made it so I can get to school quickly and I don't have to be sweaty walking into class. The kit is reliable every morning, it is quick to detach the battery and store it while I am in class. The bike is not only reliable, it is a blast to use. The look you receive riding next to the hardcore cyclist while I am giving half the effort is priceless. 5 stars all around.

I ordered a 500 Watt rear wheel kit from Leeds. Although there were a few issues with the wheel, at first, all has been resolved. The customer service at Leeds is top notch. Every email was answered within a day. Mandy - who may be the entire dept. - always understood exactly what I was talking about and went out of her way to clear the problem. This may be a young company, but it looks like they intend to do this right. Recommended.

Wheel was sent to my daughter at college for her to assemble. Tube provided blew out at 40 psi. She installed new tube after walking to 2 miles to Wal-Mart and taking a bus back. Charged battery, made simple connections but motor doesn't spin wheel. Either on/off switch is bad, wheel motor is bad, battery is dead or charger is faulty. Disappointed and will call again to see if it can we can troubleshoot over the phone. Mike McKinney

I have a limited range of motiion amd arthritis in my left knee from a motorcycle accident. After purchssing a kit 2 years ago, it allowed me to ride for hours at a decent speed. i then found ways to help pedal more efficiently with other products as well. this product brought back or reinvented my love for bikes. I now use my bikes as my primary mode of transportstiion because its really fun and stress reducing. If age or physical issues prevent you from riding, id highly reccomend these kits. its less expensive and great to upgrade a bike you already have also.

I am very pleased with everything except the front wheel. I have to clean the area where the brake pad touches on a regular basis to keep it from squeaking and that same area seems to wearing down and forming groves. I have noticed what appears to be aluminum slivers in the brake pad. I think they are coming from the wheel. The same thing is happening with another wheel that I have of yours.

I was able to do something I haven't been able to do in 5 years, ride a bike and have the assurance that my daughter and I will be able to get home at the end of our ride. I rode a BMX bike everywhere for 15years doing an average of 10 miles a day. I have been deemed disabled after an accident at work causing a traumatic brain injury 5 years ago. Leed's 500w front hub electric motor is the reason I have less anxiety and will be the reason my daughter can ride a bike. I now have a 700c hybrid 21speed bike that pulls a child and a solid steel co-pilot behind me and have been able to climb the biggest hill of over a mile and only stop once which is more of a water break than a give up this is not humanly possible bike ride. I am so glad I made this purchase and don't know why I haven't done it earlier. Thank you Mandy, you are a wealth of knowledge and I really appreciate your help in me choosing the right tool for the job. I purchased my wife the 250w Panasonic setup within a week of using my setup because she has to see it to believe it. We will have her kit in 2 more days!!! Can't wait to be riding the Worcester hills as a head turning family and not a miserable sweaty mess!!

I've liked the actual kit, even though my battery died after only 15 months. Each time I've ordered something though it's taken over a week and a half to get here, which I'm not used to now because of Amazon.
