Very prompt delivery, much appreciated. Support Tech answered a couple of questions prior to my purchase, and that was also very helpful. I finished the install a couple of weeks ago and it’s working great. Could not have done it without all of the videos and blogs that I was able to find via Luna’s product web pages.

My new seat work well and feels a lot softer then the stock SurRon seat. Also came over to Hawaii in about 48 hours. That’s amazing.

My x2 has been running great with no issues. slight issues with the 12 speed casett and derailer, you just need to keep it dialed in and it will shift just fine. Very happy with the bike, it handles very well and all the components are top notch and well. Also, the DNM suspension which I was suspect of prior to buying has been exceptional and soaks up everything I throw at it, just remember to keep the suspension adjusters properly set and you will enjoy it fully. Awesome bike! can't be any happier!!!

Original Part, easy to install following video instructions. Luna cycle is a pioneer on E-Bike and Surron original and OEM parts. Also, they provide much insider knowledge and customer anecdotes to favorite mods and upgrades.

Great option for high powered bbshd. Good chainline for Buzzraw X.

Perfect OEM fit. Heads up, if u are looking for the Sur ron logo on the cap, u will need to remove your old one. For those who take it off need not to worry at all as it does not come with one. Luna cycle does it again!

This thing ROCKS! Plenty of long lasting power and excellent suspension. I have been riding it every day about 15 minutes up and down hills for a week and still have 55% battery life. I let the wife try it and she likes it SO MUCH I ordered a second one for for her!

1.5” rise on the bar was perfect, not too high, just right, n good quality. Also like the bend n feel it it.

I am very pleased with the new gears. The installation video took away all my apprehension for opening up my Drive motor and the whole process took less then an hour. Highly recommend purchasing a backup gear set .

Had to bump it down to three starts cause chain gets stuck between chainring and motor if it falls off.

I jumped of the curb to get from the sidewalk to the bike lane cause of pedestrians, the chain hopped off and jammed into that space. Peddle and chainring had to be removed. Poor design imp but it looks cool for sure and matches the color of rear shock spring.

Pretty decent, I out accelerate all store bought e-bikes around here Florida coast/beach area with their hub drives. Beat them on top speed too. 52v and race mode. All depends on the wind. Sometimes cant break 30 and one time had a very strong wind at my back was going 44MPH.

Kind of bummed I can't get a new 52v wolf battery, mines tired out but my hot rodded BBSHD about 2500 miles on full suspension mountain bike and still works. I am careful and only use the higher gears when I want to go past 23MPH. Its all flat here but I really never peddle at all, I call it my motorcycle posing as a bicycle.

This badging is perfect for displaying your legal use of Sur Ron to the neighborhood Karens.

I’ve used a cheap hub motor for a few years on a mongoose fat tire. At 53 both of my knees are shot and my back. I live on a farm in upstate NY and rescued a dog that loves to run, I couldn’t keep up that’s why I built the electric bike.
I got sick of the lack of torque from a hub motor that’s why I bought the mid drive. Now I can climb hills no problem.
I chose to buy from Luna because the price was at least a hundred dollars cheaper than anywhere else and I know their knowledgeable and have passion for ebikes.
Bike is a mongoose malus fat tire. I ordered the 120mm bottom bracket because I wasn’t sure if the shorter one would fit. I had to make an aluminum spacer on my lathe to get everything tight and right.
Mid drive blows away the hub drive, I ordered the modified off-road program and the thing is great, lots of torque and more than enough speed for a bike. Wish I had pulled the trigger earlier.
Motor also came in a nice box that I assume Luna put together, well padded and organized.
I highly recommend the bbhsd. Thanks Luna

This is an absolute must have when installing a BBS02. So far I've installed it on 4 builds:
1. Specialized Rockhopper 29er with a Lekkie 36t
2. Surly Karate Monkey 29er with Alfine IGH 8-speed
3. Salsa El Mariachi steel vintage 29er
4. BMC TeamElite Swiss made 10-speed 29er

All 4 are rock-solid builds with no movement on the BBS02 motor. The stabilizer/motor also allows for derailleur cable AND housing to pass through it under the BB bracket for a very clean look and refined wire and cable management. It doesn't even look electric since most of the cable are hidden. On the Rockhopper, I actually drilled and screwed the stabilizer onto the frame for a very professional finished build. But I found later on the next 3 builds that one simple zip tie was all I needed to secure the stabilizer/motor onto the frame. Rock-steady on gravel and technical trails. I wished I could post pics on this review because the builds look very simple, refined and light. Not DIY. It helps that I'm using Luna's original Mighty Mini for that that truly stealth-look. Very prompt delivery on the item also - just FYI.

👍👍🏻👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿💯

Luna advanced chargers are simply the best and allow your battery to last MUCH longer!!

Worked and fit perfectly. Gives more options for standard sprockets on The market.

Love the bike

This is an awesome charger - head and shoulders above the one that came with my bike. Tons of flexibility to get you charged up fast or maximize battery life.

There is only one issue: adapters. I've been waiting nearly a year and still no adapters. I hope that gets solved soon.
