The luna float seat adds body to you bike plus its wat softer then a stock seat from a surron . Shipping was very fast to the netherlands . In very happy with my purchase!

Really comfortable, big difference to OEM. Perfectly happy.

I needed to replace the OEM plastic cover because I ended up with a chain line that was rubbing against the cover. Basically due to a Bafang chainring adapter, 5-bolt to 4-bolt, standard 104 BCD to use with my Luna Cycle Mighty Mini 30T chainring. Cover was a perfect fit for my BBS02.

In my case with a 24in. MTB dual suspension bike frame, it was better to re-install the stock Bafang 46T chainring to avoid issues with chain geometry, and also prevent loosening of the 5 chain ring bolts which were falling off due to mechanical vibration (Locktite Blue or Purple threadlocker would probably solve that, but I would avoid Red as it is too strong).

At some point, I will reinstall the excellent Luna 30T main sprocket after I am sure that the chain line issues are fully resolved and my secondary gear cover will be safe from chain rub. Also need to replace some of those tiny bolts that hold the secondary gear cover. Hard to find and easy to lose (M6 or M5 chamfer head screws).

I've been very happy with the BBS02 from Luna. I've previously bought a good sized battery from them. The quality has been equally awesome. I haven't used the kit to specifications, but I'm super happy with the performance. I'd buy from Luna again in a heartbeat.

I bought the BBSHD 750w street legal mid drive back in 2019. I installed it on my older Electra 7D Cruiser and have since put 1500 miles on it. I absolutely LOVE this hub. For the first 1200 miles, I could get around 34 to 38 miles per charge. I am starting to notice a slight change in the batter life, but even then it is still around 30 miles per charge. It has never let me down mechanically. I will say that there was some growing pains to get through when I first installed it. The installation was a snap. Take the old out, install the new, cable tie everything loose and whammo... out the door I went. I will say that I went through 4 rear tubes that first few tries. I had fat tires installed on my bike and the wheels, tubes and tires were just not fitting correctly, so I was getting either a pinch hole or the Schrader valve would just rip right out. I took it into my bike shop freaking out and lo and behold, they said "Hey, your tires are kinda old and loose on the rim...". After putting back on the stock tires with stock tubes, everything was as right as rain. I just checked and I have 1508 miles total. Mostly, I use this on paved roads/trails but I have used it on a couple of rail to trails as well.
The reason I went with this instead of buying a whole new bike and what not... I had the bike and I love my Electra 7D. I just didn't like the way it takes hills. I will say that I have done a few"I don't feel like pedaling today" trips and get right about 20 miles which is crazy to me. I am rather large... 6'5" tall and around the 280 - 300 lbs mark, so I am sure if someone half my weight was on the bike, it would go much, much further.

The seat extenders are SOLID. I was worried about adding any seat extension and making a weak point on the bike. But that's not the case with these ones.

They shipped the BaFang and it works. I am satisfied.

Luna has been exceptional to work with, fast, professional, and supplying quality products. Wish more companies were like Luna.

Solid product that looks good too.

Luna cycle,
Thank you for providing the exact experience you present on your website. The order process and delivery of the Sur-Ron was spot on. The Bike arrived in perfect shape and exactly as presented. The personal touch of marking all the bolts with marker lines shows the attention you gave the bike before delivery.
Keep up the good work!

Overall I'm happy with my Sur Ron X purchase. I paid $4380 including shipping and delivery to Ohio was around 2 weeks. The box itself was severely damaged upon arrival but there wasn't a scratch on the bike itself. Assembly was uneventful because of the many YT videos I watched previously. Performance of bike exceeded my expectations in every category except for 2 areas. The seat is a little firm and the front suspension seems 'sticky' on the first inch or 2 of travel. It's been a little over a month since my purchase and I ride every day and no problems have appeared yet. I gave 4 out 5 stars because of the price, seat, and front suspension but I would still make this purchase again.

The Luna Chainring is exactly what I needed for climbing up the steep hills and trails, however I did have to recenter my chainline by taking the cog wheel apart a re aligned the gears so the smallest gear could line up and give me the fastest seed on the street This Changed my bike to be the best at climbing all the trails I otherwise would never ride
A Perfect setup now for Sandy beaches, steeo trails and bumps

Never thought biking could be so fun. And for the price you will not find a better or more fun bike. The Apollo was definitely a great choice for me.

In Oct 2021, I bought the final production run of Luna X1 Enduro as my 1st eMTB. Flawless experience with order, delivery and tech support. I was amazed at the high assembly quality, finishing, components alignment and functionality. I totally support Global Manufacturing platform between US and China. Bike came with Sram 38T chain ring and I upgraded to a 40T easily without changing to a longer chain. I was a bit disappointed the X2 version came out less than 30 days after my X1 purchase. But considering the $3650 price and the <50 lbs light weight, it fits my riding style & road condition. The X1 is easy and friendly to ride when switching from a Trek Madone road bike. Hopefully LunaCycle would have a 17.5 AH battery for the X1 retrofit soon. Thank you Luna team for creating this awesome purchase.

I am very pleased with Luna customer service and quality of their products. I have been buying a lot of stuff from Luna and everything is top notch. Here is a picture of the bicycle which I built. It has two lunar motors on it. In the middle it is 1000W Luna / Bafang and in the front: Luna Cyclone. The bicycle is unique, it is only one of a kind in the whole world and it is fantastic, thank you Luna!

Quick friendly service and good quality.

Much better then stock SR bars.

Appreciate luna fabricating this, even though simple, for the price it is fair, and an essential component Sur Ron left out.
