Bafang BBSHD Mid Drive Ebike Kit
Love these kits. This is my second build with this kit. I have over 1000 miles on my first build without any issues with the motor or battery. Kits are well built and durable. I live at 8000feet and the mid drive motors with 1500w are the only way to go with all the hills we have.. My first conversion was a mongoose dolomite fat tire, my second build was a hosote fat tire bike from Amazon. The build came out well but would not recommend this bike as a good candidate for a conversion. Reason 1- the bike has mag wheels so you have to opoxy the magnet to the wheel or drill through the mag, I chose to use opoxy. Reason 2- the suspension fork is really cheap and you get vibration from front break. Reason 3- poor brakes. I would recommend the mongoose over the hosote. Also with these cheap bikes plan on putting 203mm disk on front and 180mm on back if you plan on stopping this beast with any confidence.

Luna Fat Galaxy Ebike (Galaxy Paint)
I switched from a Rad Rover to a Fat Galaxy in medium and couldn’t be happier. I opted for the luda mode but I bet it still blows the doors off the Rad without it. So much torque I can easily encourage a wheelie pop and hit 40 mph on a flat road (I’m 140 lbs) with throttle only. I may switch to the twist throttle for a more secure grip in the woods. I couldn’t decide between the Galaxy and a full suspension ebike from Luna so I consulted them. I use it often for hunting and the 5” wide tires lend insane traction so I determined I could just add a dropper seat and use my legs for rear suspension. When it arrived I was over the moon to see Luna already installed a dropper seat, who does that?! Customer for life. Oh and a blind monkey could assemble it, should even be called assemble- just turn the handle bar and ride.

Replacement DNM/KKE Axle and Bolts
