If you want to run the BBSHD anything above stock power level you need this PEEK gear....
Nylon has a fairly low Glass Transition Temperature so if you get the motor hot from hard use it will certainly fail
The PEEK material can handle much higher temps in this regard and is just as quiet

Hi, I’ve had great success with your 48v advanced charger, only I have used it for an odd purpose. I hope you find thos interesting or at least amusing.

I install residential solar in Maine for Goggin Energy, and we have put in a novel storage bank that uses Kilowatt Labs’ supercapacitors, as opposed to conventional chemical batteries. With four being connected in parallel, I was required to precharge them to identical voltages, and I accomplished this with your charger.

I do also have a Lunacycle lithium pack and mew Bafang motor, and look forward to using your charger for its more conventional mission, but I was in need of a charger with amp control, and this one served me well!

I have a 2020 Radrover Step-Thru 1.
There’s a lot of confusion about how to hook the Luna up to the Radrover’s battery and the electric wall outlet.
Luna says to plug in the Luna to the electric outlet first -
Then to the battery to be charged.
Rad Power Bikes say just the opposite.
That doing it that way will blow the 5 amp charging fuse.
???? Who’s right?

I definitely recommend the DVO Onyx DC1 forks over the stock ones. Lighter than the DNMs. Tons of adjustment. They have better small bump compliance. Better ground tracking resulting in improved traction. They allow me to ride harder while staying in control. Great support from DVO. Can’t go wrong with these compared to the overpriced Fox 40s.

This battery has exceeded my expectations. It lasts much longer than I expected.

Incredibly complicated and unintuitive.

I am thrilled with my 52 VDC Luna Charger, and I normally keep my battery pack at 80%, but I like the ability to confidently charge to 100% when I have a busy day or if I want to top-balance the battery pack.

Way better/stronger than the stock bash guard, it's the little details that make your sur ron that much cooler!

Definitely worked out for me after installing custom wheels and wider motocross tires it left no room for the kickstand. Since the bike has has been lifted, the peg extension kit gives me more leg room and feel better when standing. It also spaced the pegs wider giving me clearance for the kick stand so it was a bonus. Plus it put the kickstand lower so it stays the correct length with more ground clearance. It feel like a CRF125 now. Definitely has helps to give the X bike a big bike feel.

First pound for pound dollar for dollar Luna has the best price for what you get.
I have ridden some much more expensive e-bikes with high end components and can say I always go back to my Galaxy !
I have modified it some and tweaked it at times but still running strong.
If your looking for logistics like Amazon or a instant response. Go elsewhere they know bikes and they do it well.
I could go on and on but I have researched forums and purchased from other bike companies but for what they have I would not go elsewhere!

Great piece to flex on fools

Everything was packed really well in a nicely padded box. The kit was complete and everything I ordered was there. Everything I found online led me to order from Luna and I'm so glad I did.

It’s really fun lots of interest

I would have given the Surron X 5 stars, but there were more than a few issues I had with the finished product. I must say there is good power and smoothness, especially with the new electronic throttle. Battery life is good and I’m estimating more than 20 miles on a full charge with a little distance remaining. The new DVO shocks have outstanding rebound and shock sensitivity characteristics. I opted also with the belt-drive upgrade which lessens the noise and chatter with the chain setup.
I have been a long time customer and purchased a Luna Ludicrous Fusion Crusher 3 in 2018. Still have the bike today! There were a few issues, though, that I was not happy with when the final product was delivered. My new DVO shocks were scratched and paint removed in three places. USB not working. Brakes were nonexistent and attempted to bleed but ended up replacing them at an additional cost. DVO shock adapter was left in place on the front with brake attached. If you used it in this position, you would sink the brakes. This item should have been removed prior to shipping.
I believe the Surron X is a great bike but I wish Luna would check everything closely before they send the finished product for defects. Better Quality Control. That would save a lot of headache for the future customer. 🙂
