Needed a new controller, it was out of stock but once back in stock they shipped it quickly. It was easy to install and the bike is working great again!

Good bag, big with plenty of room

The best upgrade I’ve done to my Talaria Sting. The bike feels planted to the ground now. The 17” wheels are good and the supermoto tires are great. Turns feel much better than the stock tires. With the correct gear ratio settings the stock speedometer on the talaria is still accurate. I would definitely recommend the supermoto set for anyone who does mostly street riding.

Simple plug and play on my X1

Charger is working great. This charger should be included in all your bike and add-on motor kits.

I like the fact that the Luna mini charger has a toggle switch and you can purposefully charge your electric bike to less than 100%.
The first Luna mini charger I ordered did not seem to be calibrated correctly. I understand it's not an exact science but when I set the toggle switch to 80%, it would shut off and stop charging and then I would check the percentage reading and the volts on the display and it wasn't even close. When the toggle switch was set to 80%, the mini charger could barely get it to 60%. I tried this on several occasions and all three settings on the toggle were vastly off. I asked Luna cycles if they could please send me another 48 volt mini charger. I first had to return the original 48 volt mini charger which they provided me a shipping label for.
Once they saw that the return was in the FedEx shipping system they sent me out another 48 volt mini charger.
I'm happy to report the second 48 volt mini charger they sent me is much more accurate with the toggle switches.
When I set the toggle switch to 80% and the charger shuts off I check my bike and it consistently registered 78%.
I'm very happy with the second charger that they sent me out and appreciate Luna backing up their products and paying for the return shipping. I recommend Luna as they stand behind their products and I'm very satisfied with the customer service they provided me with for both for the Luna 48 volt many charger and my electric mountain bike that I ordered from them.

I don't normally do reviews but I would like to share my experience with the Luna Z1 Enduro
e-mountain bike. I do have experience with ebikes as I own two other e-mountain bikes.
I ordered my Z1 on July 10th 2022 and received it on July 26th 2022. It seems like a long wait but it was coming from Luna cycle headquarters in El Segundo California and I live in upstate New York. The packaging was excellent and there was no damage when the bike arrived via UPS freight. I didn't realize UPS freight uses a train to get the bike from California to the East Coast but that is what I was told by Luna customer service.
Having bicycle experience I assembled the bike myself and it was simple. Luna has several videos online you can watch teaching you how to assemble and troubleshoot various issues. They are very helpful.
I will now give my opinion on the pros and cons of the Luna Z1 after putting in about 200 miles so far.

Pros:

The Luna Z1 is extremely powerful. The Bafang Ultra M620 motor with up to 160 newton meters of torque is ridiculous and addictively fun to ride. If you have bad knees this bike will make you feel young again as it did for me. Also, being able to smoke any 10kplus E-mountain bike up a hill is priceless.
The Rock shox suspension once tuned to your preference and weight is very good. Again, Luna has videos that are very specific on how to do this. I have a shock pump and it was easy to do.
The bike is so powerful that I did snap a chain on my first ride. I was going up the hill and shifted under load so it was my fault. This is something you have to learn to do with a bike is powerful as this one. Once you learn how not to shift under load and to be careful about what gear you are in going up a hill it becomes almost second nature and easy to do.
The Galaxy paint job is really cool looking. It looks like a gloss black in the shade but when it goes into the sunshine you can really see the sparkles and I think it's really sharp.
I normally take a size medium e-mountain bike. I ordered my Z1 with a small frame because they were out of mediums. If you look at the Luna sizing chart for the frame on their website the difference between a medium and a small frame is only about 1 cm in the standard measurements of a frame. Not really a big difference. I ended up putting an adjustable riser stem onto my Luna Z1 and the bike fits me perfectly. In fact when I tell people it's a small frame everyone is surprised because they say it looks like a medium. I personally like a smaller frame and having the bike be more nimble and reactive to my movements. To those out there contemplating small verse medium when they usually ride a medium I'd say go for it. A small frame on this bike is not vastly different than the medium. I am very happy with my decision to go with the smaller frame. I am 5'10".
I did have a issue with the Z1 that Luna eventually fixed for me. Within the first week of riding the bike the odometer on my Bafang DPC-18 display malfunctioned. It said I had 4 million plus miles and was stuck on that number. All the other functions of the display including the trip odometer time etc etc functioned properly. Just the odometer with overall miles on the bike no longer worked. To Luna cycles credit they sent me out a new display and I sent the malfunctioning display back. The turnaround on that was about a week. So overall I consider this to be a pro as they backed up their product.

Cons:

The Luna Z1 to my surprise does not come with tubeless ready rims. It comes with Alex rims,quanta hubs, and inner tubes.
The Maxxis minion tires are tubeless ready, but the rims are not tubeless compatible.
So if you like a tubeless setup you are going to have to order a new set of rims for the Luna Z1.
Overall I would purchase the Luna Z1 again and I am very happy with it.

I think that anyone having an Ebike should use this charger. Recently, I learned that I should only charge at 40% amperage of my total battery amps. Now, I can charge at 4 amps, but enjoy the more energy-efficient 1 amp when charging at home overnight!

Clearly, charging to 80%, 90%, or 100% means greater battery life.

I waited 5 months for it to be restocked, so I bought it WITHIN HOURS of receiving the email of its return. I did not want to buy at 50% more from a Canadian vendor nor 50% less from an unreliable Chinese source.

Got the X2 at the beginning of the year so far so good. This bike is powerful. Luna support has been pretty responsive to trouble shooting question and they made good on the battery shipment error. Got the new one a few months later. Would recommend to others.

Great charger to be nice to your battery. Dials for amperage and percentage charge works as expected. I like the readout so you can easily see/confirm amperage that you're charging at. Have had no issues with it after a month of use.

This bike is amazing great customer service and super fast shipping to Portland, OR. Sounds like a few of my friends are just about to pull the trigger because this bike is so amazing.... if you're on the fence just do it. I'm loving my X
