Got this as a gift from Worksharp after registering my Ken Onion sharpener. This little sucker is nice. I can sharpen any knife while I'm waiting around. Works great with serrated blades as well which are particularly time-consuming but if you're just sitting around, break it out and you'll have a sharper blade in no time. Now, this thing isn't going to "cut it" for really dull blades but that's what the Ken Onion is for anyway. I replaced some factory screws with blued screws on my Spyderco Shaman and they did fine. I wouldn't use them for heavy-duty use but they were fine for tightening loose screws and stuff -- pretty handy too because I didn't realize one of my screws were loose on that knife. A little bit of Locktite took care of that. Thanks Work Sharp for that gift that will keep giving!

Two bits failed, first use. I'm a HUGE Work Sharp fan and owner. I got this because it had EVERYTHING i needed for my Kershaw 1776BLK, which is my EDC knife. Love the sharpener, works amazing and it's going in my fishing bag. However, two of the 3 bits failed on me in use. Sure, over-tightening you say. After i bent the small and medium bits (please email me for pictured Work Sharp) i went and got my in-lbs torque wrench. I don't know where your bits broke, but i was able to tighten to the factory 12 in-lbs of torque with no issue and it was more than a quarter turn to get there. Find a new bit manufacturer please

Have had this sharpener for four months and have used it on axes and knives. This morning I used smallest (t6) torx to move a pocket clip because my torx key set only went down to t9. The diamond and ceramic stones work well in combination to make a good cutting edge. This sharpener lives in my daily carry bag with the Pivot Plus Sharpener, so I have the ability to sharpen different styles or knives and cutting tools anywhere I go. Great for the car, camp gear, B.O.B. Etc. would recommend to anyone.

The small compact size makes this very easy to put into your pocket, pack, toolbox, or drawer. Does a great job putting a sharp edge on my knives and is simple to use. It is very convenient to have the torx bits to work on folding knives if needed. I would recommend to anyone looking for a small sharpener while on the go.

I used my Ken Onion for the first time today. I sharpened 5 various kitchen knives, 3 outdoor knives, 2 fillet knives and 3 scissors in less than an hour. All edges came out spectacular. I couldn't be happier if I were twins.

I recently bought the Work Sharp Ken Onion Elite Knife Sharpening kit. I was unable to use a stone to get my knives sharp, however, I used the blade grinding attachment that came with my system and I got razor sharp edge on all my knives. I cannot recommend this product enough, I love the ease of use and the quality of the edge I get on my knives.

I've had this sharpener for about two years now, and I like it. I like many others have owned several and yes they work. I bought a new D2 custom knife a couple years ago and wanted something that could sharpen it quicker because of the harder steel. This unit works great on it and all my other knives. I highly recommend this product to help keep your knives sharp. Remember dull knives are more commonly known as files.

High quality tool! There was a bit of learning curve as my background was all hand sharpening. I still struggle with smaller blades but that is not the tools fault. I was very impressed with how quickly it cleaned up my axe.

For years, no DECADES, I have attempted to learn different sharpening techniques. From the little oil stone I got in Boy Scouts to a fancy two sided whet stone that I currently drag out and operate with inconsistent results. The work sharp tool is the best and easiest solution to keeping every knife tool and random blade I have bragging sharp! Do not hesitate. Simply buy this now and forget all the mystic secrets of the techniques that our ancestors used.

If you are an absolute ape like me when trying to use a sharpening stone, this tool is definitely worth the money. I can now put the proper edge angles on my Japanese and European knives, as well as my cleaver. And you get stickers!!
