Good to have, its set up and ready to use if needed. I like the carry case which allows access to activate without taking the device out of its case. I have added a chord and carabina to the case allowing the recuse me to be tethered to the life jacket or kayak. The antenna pulls out and there is a winder to rewind good to practice this as the antenna needs to be out for the stronger signal.

Excellent build quality, easy to use, and I really like that I can replace components once they're worn out.What can you expect from a field sharpener that doesn't weigh a ton or isn't bulky? Will take practice to get used to holding it and getting faster with it, but definitely gets the job done. Not sure you could ask for more without it becoming gimmicky.
