Spent a few hours in the winter ocean water, beach and channel finshing in above knee-high water. I could feel how deep the water was on my legs but never felt cold. A pretty obscure application but these pants worked very well. Highly recommended.

Have used the pants as a base layer (in combination with the sharkskin hooded vest) underneath a 5mm wetsuit during my recent dives in South Australian waters (17-18 deg C water temp) and it has kept me warm all throughout the dive!

These are wonderful, fit well although a little long but I am short and just fold them at ankles and put boots and or socks over the top, they keep you a great temp, no butt bouyancy issues, stay in place and dry super fast! Wont be going back to a full wetsuit anytime soon!!!

I bought these in a bigger size as I wanted something firm and supportive, but long to swim in at the beach vs bathers. I also take my dog swimming so wanted a sturdy fabric given my pups claws are pretty long!
The material is fantastic, the construction great, and I love the drawstring waist. The fabric is also great. They rinse and dry well too.
The two things that worked less well for me that held me back from 5 stars was that the back felt a bit short (could be higher waisted) and the shorts were a little tight on my legs just above the knee at their seam. I suspect they will give a bit with use, so will keep wearing them and see how I go.
I like them enough to have told my sister to buy them (she also swims with her dogs)....
