I've made two larger orders thru marine deals. I did compare prices and while it's possible to hunt down the odd item on special elsewhere, usually MD has the better prices. My packages arrived a couple of days after ordering with a couple of items on back order arriving a week after ordering.

Hello Eoghn, thanks for your review. Gas bottles are always sold as empty - We're pretty sure no one would want to pay the courier costs for filled gas bottles. Same applies to fuel tanks and any fuel container that is refillable.

Always order from here and have never had an issue, always get what I ordered and always fairly prompt delivery. Until a few weeks ago that is. Ordered a couple of sale items. At first I thought the delivery was late due to the long weekend (Auckland Anniversary) but another week went by. Contacted the courier company for them to get back to me and tell me they can't find the package and to contact Marine Deals for replacement. Thought I would be in for a battle, but they advised me they would send replacements straight away. Let's hope the courier company doesn't "lose" this package. Top job Marine Deals!

So... 6 different fishing tackle shops in BOP couldn't help with the reel I was after, fair enough, was last year's model. Finally found one locally, at $20 more than was advertised, and they had no inclination to match price from 4 other out of town stores. Bummer.
Finally caved and rang marine deals. Took 5 minutes to register, enquire, place order and pay. Service was polite, helpful and dispelled any thoughts I had of doing business over o phone with people I'd never dealt with. It took One ( yes only one) day to receive my reel, in good Nick and exactly as described. Chalk up a win for Marine Deals, cheers guys.

Last time I had swivels missing from my order, but I let that go..........This time on a lure order I'm sent the wrong lure, size and colour and advised I would be notified by the end of the day what the story is............ Usually Marine deals is sharp and great to deal with, but if you say your going to do something........ then do it, or take the time to do it right in the first place...... communications is key guys. I can't rate marine deals, "MD" highly enough, I buy fishing gear regularly, but the stuff I buy from MD is delivered in typically 1 to 2 days, they are quick to respond to any concerns and will give free gifts for the inconvenience when things don't go to plan, highly recommend.

Amazed to find the very best thread for beading so cheap. Half the price at the Warehouse. So glad I decided to google spiderwire. I know when I have attached the metal parts with spiderwire they will never come adrift. Spiderwire can be flattened to fit through the smallest needles and never slips back out.
