We're happy with the unit although there are a fair number of false positives, and it does not detect falls when my husband falls to his knees.
The recent experience trying to get a replacement part was not up to our usual experience with Medical Care Alert. The lanyard attachment broke, and it took several weeks and several phone calls to get the replacement. The particular part that broke seems to be the least durable part of the unit.
