UV Lamp 11040 4 Pins 40 Watt 840mm
I have a fully dependent rain water system supplying my house. I thought it was clean as the house is in a pristine environment but with very young children staying decided to ensure the water was free of contaminants so installed a My Water Filter filtration system with four components, vein for larger particles, micro filter, UV light to kill any bacteria and a magnet. I was surprised how much the vein filter catches, it and the UV tube are replaced annually, I get reminders from MWF when this is due. The installation is neat and we now drink our water with complete confidence.

Replacement Cartridge for the Chrome Shower Filter
Because we are in a continued drought like conditions, our local water is very heavily treated with chemical. Which makes our skin very itchy. Your filter helps to minimise this so reduces the itch considerably. Hair also much softer after we wash it. Thank you so much. Ray and Joan

Chrome Shower Filter
My wife has been having itchy skin lately & we brought it to try on our shower which uses tank rain water. It hasn't made any difference but no harm no foul was worth trying.

Hello Ian,
Thanks for letting us know.
Ian rainwater is normally magnificent to shower in, i am wondering if being untreated some bugs and bacteria have build-up in the tank?
You are correct the shower filter which you have purchased is not ideal for use with untreated water as it is meant to be used for city water as it deals with the Chlorine in the water.
For untreated water, it would be best to filter and sterilize the water prior to usage.
Maybe you could take a look at the Hydrosil product in the link below, that will sterelise the tank water & it is non toxic.

You may want to look into our filters that is ideal for untreated water such as rainwater.
Please check on the link below or you may contact our customer service team if you have any interest in that.
